"All I know about this job is what he said about it, B&E, what I've done for him before, which is more B&E. Beyond that, I know Tween as a local fixer, as far as I know he operates mostly in Redmond, Bellevue and  Snohomish, and until today I thought he specialized in private residences. You know, art, jewelry, electronics, that kind of things. He'd get work that a place was ripe for a visit, send a crew and fence the loot. Plus, occasionally, and that's where I mostly came in, a request for a specific piece, with the buyer all lined up before the job. At least that's what I heard. But we're a little high powered for a cleaning crew, that mostly takes one specialist to bypass security and some muscle to move things, and there are too many of us for the amount of security I'm familiar with, so I have to wonder.

Besides, it's the first time he sends me to a Johnson, art buyers mostly wants to stay as far as possible from the dirty work."

Hm...asessing skillset in this team, I dont think that B&E job is whats going on. Well that may be just an accident, less intent, that we happen to be in right place in the right moment. If he is working in this kind of business, I also dont expect wetwork or kidnapping. If we are up to seek something that was stolen from him or one of his clients, there will be more rush, not two days off before the work begins. So maybe blackmail or man hunt. Im afraid that my contacts are gone and thus I will have to relly on matrix intel Ill be able to get. And also on-site recon. Any other ideas? Any usefull contacts/resources we can pool for this?

I understand that working with ex-cop would be no problem for another ex-cop. Well, Im deffinitively out from corpses for a while, with little to no traces left. Well, a fair warning...Steam looks down on Snow`s arm on his shoulder
you better think twice bout touching me again, human. You can get badly hurt. As for everyone, we are supposed to work together, and I dont want anyone to blame me that he wasnt warned...if anything goes wrong during this rum, try to avoid touchin me anywhere else than on this armSteam raises his cyber-prothesis
...and at any cost avoid touching my blood. I see that this wont improve our relatinship too much, well old habbits die slow. Now...I know this place close by with nice and secure boxes and some beverage. Id like to listen what your ideas on this Tween guy and his Johnsonis up to.

"It doesn't always take an ex-cop to know an ex-cop Steam. I use to deal a little Novacoke back in the day so guys like you are not always hard to spot. And just so everyone knows I left that business behind a long time ago so no worries."  Snow wipes his nose with a little exageration right before he grows a giant smile.

Snow looks at Voodoo, "Is it possible to see who made the reservation for our meet with Mr. Johnson using the location's log? Maybe the more we know about him before hand it could tell us more about what he's looking for or what he might want us for. We could also see who books the section, where we're meeting Mr. Johnson, on a regular basis. Maybe that person is somehow connected to Tween, maybe that's our guy, or maybe it leads to a dead end. We won't know for sure until we try."

Snow brushes his long hair away from his elven ears just before speaking to everyone, "I could go to the meeting location and get to know the staff a bit. Do to odd hours service industry workers tend to have bad habits that range anywhere from cancer sticks to my forementioned buddy Novacoke. I can do that legwork starting tonight. Don't worry it will be after I buy that first round."

"My last thought is this, maybe I can hang around the meeting location, right around our reservation time, and see how Mr. Johnson arrives. If it's a company car then he's a company man. That's both good and bad news. Good because they tend to have deeper pockets. Bad because... well because he's a company man. It could also lead to nothing, but like I said we won't know until we try. And it won't be too suspicious because I already have a reputation for being late. It's amazing what a little water and heavy breathing can lead others to believe."

Winter replies, "I wouldn't assume anything about the nature of the mission from the make up of the team. We all know missions can go sideways, even simple B and E jobs.  It's best to have team members with diverse skills to handle contingencies. I don't think any of will say know to the work regardless of the mission objective."

Winter replies to Snow, "In my experience corporate Johnson's are more cautious than your scenario supposes, but like you said there's no harm in the attempt.  Personally I want to conduct a complete recon of the meeting site in case things go poorly and a tactical withdrawal is required."

To All: "We should establish a few rally points in relatively public places in case the mission gets ugly.  Also we should establish some simple communication protocols, like establishing a few temporary mission communication channels and some simple codes to either verify IDs via voice only communications and some codes indicate that a channel has been compromised or communication is being monitored.

If this is a quiet mission we will also want to establish some simple hand signals in case we are unable to speak during the mission.  Once we know more about the mission we can establish some likely scenarios and establish some protocols based on those scenarios."

"I'll check up on the reservation connection, but I have a feeling it's gonna come up pretty empty. Tween logs on in various locales talks for a bit and jumps off and leaves the area quickly, making it hard to track him. If that's his usual M.O. then I'm pretty sure he covers his tracks elsewhere. That being said I'd love to see if I'm wrong." Voodoo responds to several hacking questions aimed at her.

When the group discusses the validity of it being a B&E or not. "I've done a few B&E's in my life, so it is possible that it's just that a B&E. So are we going to a bar or what?"

Almost there :)
Well. It is not really necesary to get intel on the possible assignment and Johnson prior to the meeting. On the other side, this is the first time we are going to work together, and using those days before meeeting can be good for training, so we know our weak spots, establish communication protocols, as Winter mentioned, tactics and routines and clarify roles and responsibilities in the team.

Dwarf descends short staircases to the basement of one of those pre-awakening flat buildings, sporadicaly inhabited by some old-time lovers. Not too much attention from authorities, at least until some infected move in, or minor insect hive...
That also means that everyone here minds his own business and there will be no vain questions.

So if we do this, what would be the practice target? What tween is up to? or Who is Johnosn?

"Winter's right, we need to do our homework on the lounge. And I'd like to see what the lounge's reservations log turns up on Mr. Johnson. If we find something we can use as a bargaining chip, well let's just say that'll be worth more than it's weight in gold when we start negotiating our new pay rate. Steam is right as well. We should use this opportunity to train together. As for picking a target, well my vote is Tween. I think we should set up a trap by placing him in a location were he feels safe. That way if this job goes sideways we can reset the trap and swoop him up if we need to. And I also think we should have a central location where we do all our planning for this job and use it as our primary rally point once the deed is done. And think we should implement Winter's idea of having a few public rally points. Anyway, that's my two cents."

"Well, I don't know about asking around about Tween. Oh, I have no problem with the idea, but most of my contacts also know him, or of him, or know people who know him, and I'm afraid my inquiries would get back to him in short order. I'm not sure tipping our hand so obviously would be good."

I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. Intel is always good but we are in no place to put any sort of operation together. I say we discreetly gather Intel on tween, the location and and the Johnson but setting any sort of trap is premature. Nothing personal but if the meet goes sideways my plan is to exit and find paying work elsewhere.

Once whole group takes place in the box, and orders are quickly posted on bar menu, he waits untill waitres didnt leave, iat quietly, watching his lager sparkling...
I vote for improvement of our Johnson`s profile. it may take some sniffing around Tween also, but nothing tha hurts our reputation if we do it well. He seems to be operating in only a few areas, so lets get some sleep to sober, and begin. I for myself will walk the streets asking around for some hints. Anyone, feel free to join me, but more than three people is crowd. Now...raise your glasses!

What skill sets do you think you need?  I can provide security but you might need someone with a more subtle set of skills than mine.
