This is simultaneously my first post and my first Technomancer (Really my first non-combat oriented character period).  You guys always have good ideas so I figured I would check with you all for a review.  (Modified:) I forgot to include his basic concept.  A dryad for Tir Na Nog.  He's a muscian that's part of the character (hence Day Job and Fame and Artisan as a skill).  Probably would be good to let you all know that.

I'm not quite sure if I understood the Techno aspects right.  I assumed I didn't need a commlink to broadcast my SIN if I had data chips (to store said SIN).

You are right about commlinks, but you want one just so you don't broadcast HI I AM A TECHNOMANCER all the time by running a PAN with no commlink. A cheap one is fine.

Technomancers are tough to build and you hit most of the "trap options." I'd suggest taking a look a the Technoshaman archetype in my sig. I also recommend reading Squee's example of play http://forums.shadowrun4.com/index.php?topic=6281.0 for some idea of what hacking is actually like. The big no-nos:

Willpower streams suck. Hard. You really, REALLY should be a Charisma stream like Technoshaman as a dryad.

4 Agility is 2 more than you need.

Odd Willpower (for the stun box). You don't need huge willpower.  Logic 3 is fine as well. I'm not going to complain about Body 4, but you might drop to 3.

You really should have Compiling 4 and Hacking 6. You don't need Cybercombat; that is what Sprites are for (or better yet, being better at hacking so you don't get into cybercombat).

Someone's going to tell you OMG etc etc about the high loyalty/connection contacts so I might as well get that out of the way. Your GM may or may not be cool with that.

Complex Forms need a rework.

First, never take a CF at anything other than 6. This is because of the loopy way they are priced in BP vs. Karma.

Second, it's easy to think of CFs as "the list of things I can do." This is wrong. It is the list of things you are specialized in doing. You can do anything by threading, and can outsource many things to sprites. Never, ever take a CF that only needs to be used out of pressure time or takes a while to do anyways or that you only need to be "OK" at.

Armor, Attack, Black Hammer should go. Get sprites to do fighting for you (and try to avoid detection using better Stealth, instead). If you are worried about getting e-pwnt, Shield is a much better investment.

ECCM should go. You can thread a little when you need it, which is not as often as other CFs you don't have.

Many GM's consider Empathy Software unacceptable levels of cheese. Check this one. If it is allowed, it is super win times.

You need Analyze. No analyze = blind on the matrix = bad. Remember that you often have to make Matrix Perception Tests reactively, so this is the one thing you can't get away with just threading.

That leaves you with 6 CFs (Shield, Empathy, Spoof, Exploit, Stealth, Analyze) which is your cap with Logic 3. The next two useful-ish ones would be Command (if you ever plan to rig) and Disarm (useful for disarming Analyze programs so you can't be found) if you want Logic 4.

Wear Form Fitting Body Armor.

Vision Enhancements from Glasses and Goggles don't stack.

Resonance caps the ratings of your Living Persona (ie, you have Biofeedback Filter 6, not 7).

Thanks I really appreciate that.  Most of that I had no clue about and thanks for the links you provided.

As for the Bio-feedback Filter thing I have no clue how that even got to seven I was using Chummer to build my character.  Probably clicked something wrong.

Much improved. 2 comments:

When I said wear Form Fitting Body Armor, I didn't mean just that. Check the Technoshaman's armor (from my sig) for a cheap complete set. What you wear should total to 9/7 (6/6 for encumbrance).

Some GMs may QQ about the dump-stattage. I would rather fix that with karma than cut stuff, but if I had to I would go with Software 4, Computer 1, Browse 1, and drop Pilot Ground Vehicle for that (outsource Hardware to sprites if you need it).

I would have 1 Pilot Anthroform, 1 Pilot Aircraft, and 1 Pilot Groundcraft rather than 2/1, because you can't default on Pilot Anthroform and walkers are useful.

I don't recognize the Knight Errant P4. Where is that from?

I recommend the Flying Eye Drone from Spy Games over the MCT Eye-Spy.

I forgot form fitting body armor only counted for half.  I forgot about the Secure Tech, good call.  Need to look over the rest of these archtypes you have very nice work.

As for the Knight Errant P4 it's in Arsenal pg 119

Spy Games was off-limits as far as approved books from my GM.  So I'm stuck with the MCT eye spy.

I would consider just using a repeater drone and not bothering with the similar but slightly less flexible fly-spy, in that case.

The P4 is not an awful vehicle, but it's kinda pricey and Restricted. For "super fast chase vehicle" I would recommend the Suzuki Mirage, which for a Command rigger is better in every way, is cheaper, not Restricted, and can also carry someone if needed.

I would suggest swapping out Networker for Technoshaman. This swaps Code and Courier for Machine and Paladin. Code is good, but Machine is better for rigging. Paladin is just better than Courier.

Just as a little extrapolation for D108 on why that is so:

The common interpretation of the Rules As Intended is that Machine Sprites are able to "jump in" to a Drone. That is, they are able to replace a drone's Pilot Program with themselves. Being Sprites, and therefore not limited by physical capabilities of their Node, that means they use their own Pilot and Response ratings, as well as the Autosoft Complex Forms that they can be summoned with, which can surpass the Rating 4 limit of conventional Autosofts.

This means that they can quickly gain dicepools approaching those of a dedicated Street Samurai when it comes to combat and, as a TM/Face combo, you should have enough Charisma to field something approaching a half-dozen of them at once.

Oh whoops, I forgot to mention that when I posted the character.  I'm using the Technoshaman stream but for some reason it does not list in the Chummer character builder so I wrote down Networker so I remembered it was a cha based fading.

And yeah you're definitely right about the mirage, it's a better option.
