Ok one of my players wants to play a clone, one designed for combat as heavy infantry.  These clones in the book are considered a war crime on legs.  Tough, fast shooters, and very good at tactics.  They are also albino, and autistic.  He is basing this character from the triplets in the E book running black by Patrick Todoroff.  while I personally have no problem with it, with some appropriate negative qualities and limitations.  what are the ramifications if this person is ever caught and processed? by law enforcement or corp security.  would they either sutdy him, off him or turn him over to some one else?
always Double Tap.

The same as for anyone else. No special additional problems unless he's one that escaped from a megacorp. No additional limitations or negative qualities would really need to be applied (nor should they be, as the player should not be punished for a unique concept unless you want to discourage unique concepts).

However, the Records On File and/or Wanted qualities would make great sense if the player involved wants to go that route. Possibly also a Mysterious Implant for tracking and/or "ID Chipping".

If the player wants them, then yeah, but if not, then nothing is really needed for it.

Didn't you post this in another board as well?

Out of curiosity, where else do you see a cloned bred combat soldier coming for?

Each to their own, but for me it would stretch credulity to think there wasn't someone behind such a clone, something very powerful, and they'd want them back. Or destroyed.

You have to remember, such a clone could be the result of some top secret project that was only terminated because the people who knew about it were all killed, but the killers didn't know where to get to the project itself. May not be particularly likely, but it is still possible. All in all though, my point was that none of the negative qualities should be applied directly by the GM. Rather they should all be 100% chosen by the player.

Dark Angel, anyone?

Genecrafted
Genetic Heritage (she's not the first generation)
Escaped Clone
Mysterious Implant (Barcode)
Wanted (Manticore)

put in as much Geneware as possible, including the optional rule to get bioware as transgenetic modification.

I'd more say a low level Distinctive Style for the barcode since it's more of a tattoo than an implant. Though really, for the bioware part of your post, you don't really need any optional rule. I think a good GM should let it be 'stylized' as genetic modification (as long as full nuyen and essence costs are paid) because the concept is a rather good one.  However, I think I recall someone saying in another thread something about Genecrafted and Genetic Heritage not being compatible. I haven't seen proof of it, but I thought I'd put that out there.

Why would the Army/Megacon consider expensive Clones if they can have cheap Orks ?

with a cheaper Dance

More control over the 'quality' of their soldiers? Belief that orks are an inferior sub-human species that needs to be eradicated?

Bioware and SimSin is enough Control ;)
And there are more than just the japanese Megacons  ;) .Evo,Ares ,Saeder Krupp are ImO perfect canditates to use the Bio-Augmented Ork (brainwashed and BTL addicted to keep them in Line) instead of a wahay to expensive (potentially disfunctional) Clonesoldier
but that might be just my opinion

If I were designing such a PC, I would get Records On File for definite.  And probably Judas ;-)
