We have 500BP as there are only 2 of us playing. the die cap is set at 20 or the bonus may not be greater than your attribute + your skill which ever is higher. I am trying to make the best guy I can as we are going to have to cover both the combat and hacking rolls and as a back up face. Firewall/System 6 costs 3000 each, not 1000 each.

I think your skills are too spread out and unfocused. Hacking 6, Electronics 4, and a weapon skill at 4 is a good idea. I would lose Clubs, Dodge (active dodging is fairly overrated; usually it will just make you die last), and the specialization on Pilot to pay for it.

I'd also think about chucking some or all of the specializations and getting them back with karma, since they are cheap with karma.

Longarms isn't a very good weapon skill, and especially not as your only firearms skill because there aren't any good concealable longarms. Automatics is a much better all-purpose skill. Take a look at my sig and the Combat Hacker for some good automatics weapons.

I think you can do a lot better on your cyberware.
I'm not a big fan of putting eye mods into your eyes. You can just wear goggles or something with the same stuff.
Instead of installing the commlink and nanohive directly into yourself, get a cyber lower leg and then put them in that, and fill up the extra space with Armor. It's more useful, and less essence. Ditto on the Datajack.

PuSHeD, Encephalon 2, and Reaction Enhancers 1 would all be highly useful to you. You may need to wait to get them due to cash shortage though.

Really if you're concerned with piloting, get Skillwires 3, Autosofts for different pilot skills, and control rig. Youre rolling 13 dice to pilot anything you have the autosoft for, which is acceptable

Hacking programs (exploit, spoof, stealth) have availability 12 at rating 6. Adding program options increase the availability to 13+, so you would need three more restricted gear for them.

There is normally a Rating 6 limit for everything you buy at character creation, i.e. commlink armor 10 is not allowed.

Thank you Arkannewinter that was a very good point =O) even with out the skill I still have 7 dice in pilot groundcraft and that isn't ideal but better than nothing., and Lethe thank you for catching that. I have made the updates what do you think?

First off, I am imagining a minotaur with glasses wearing a shirt. With bowtie. It's great. I love oddball builds. Going over the thread, but a couple of things popped out a me already.

As a variant metatype from RC, you automatically get Distinctive Style with no BP benefit. Generally you can't take the same quality more than once unless it says you can.

As far as Autosofts, only Drones and Agents operating independantly can make use of them. They confer no benefit to the hacker or rigger's tests.

UmaroVI already covered what I was going to say about getting a cyber partial limb and moving some of the other implants into it.
