A few notes before the build:

-I built this on the Ronin framework, and plan to follow that upgrade path

-I know specializing in car driving is not optimal but hes supposed to be better at that then gun shooting.

-Took dodge over the athletics skill group route because he can use it while driving, ditto on infiltration over the stealth group (sneaky and subtle he is not!)

- The 2 RG qualities are from the mount and the autocannon in the car(which is a knight rider rip off for sure)

-There are no chameleon mods on anything. That is purposeful.

- There's a lot of stuff in the car as i wanted it to do a bit of everything (including manage its own gun since i didn't take gunnery), but if anything there can be cut for minimal loss and free up some nuyen I'm all for it.

You can cut 1 body off the arm, and still average to 3.

Neither Strength nor Logic is actually any use to this character; you might want 2s in them to avoid GM aggro but you could in theory go to 1 on either or both.

The Ares Crusader is generally inferior to the B&P MP-9.

If you aren't using SnS (is that intentional?) the Ingram SuperMach 100 is less of a good idea. Especially if you don't want Chameleon Coating, you are better off taking a SMG with better base damage and modding it to have enough recoil comp and to have HV fire. The Praetor is your best bet for that.

Maybe I'm derping it but I can't see what gun you actually put in that mount on the car. Is it the Heavy Autocannon?

You don't seem to have factored Smartlink into your shooty pool, or your arm into your punchy pool.

Why did you upgrade your car to only System/Response 4? I think you can get 5.

You should probably cough up for Firewall 6 on it.

Does your car need to be online often? You drive it manually, right, and the pilot runs the gun? You should probably make sure you have a quick way to kill the wireless and run in wireless-off mode a lot, because you don't have a great way to defend it from matrix shenanigans.

FAQ is unreliable due to contradictory portions. As to the Unwired references, the former batch of pages are likely misprints while the latter are more than likely specific exceptions (the only ones on 204 with the higher Firewalls are things that are highly unlikely to run anything else).

Done and done. -1 customized body on arm saved me some nuyen. -1 logic for +1 Charisma!

Took the crusader more on how it looked and for the R tag since i went and bought a license and all.

Switched to the Praetor. Yes, lack of SnS is intentional. The guns are Custom Look 2 to stack with charisma for winning stare downs. If shooting happens anyway then whatever needs to die.

Don't know why it didn't show in chummer print out. Its the light autocannon as it receives special exception to be mounted on a flexible mount since my car isn't as maneuverable as a drone.

Actually i lifted the commlink off the spook since it seemed fairly automated and good for leg work while i was busy with other things. I'd love firewall 6 but finding the nuyen could be an issue.

This is confusing to me. The book is very vague on how autos are driven. Arsenal states that vehicle command can be passed between passangers leading me to believe people are using the Command program (when they aren't just letting the pilot handle it). But the book art, the lack of rules making Command required for driving, and the Removed Manual Controls mod means a steering wheel must be present. Buuuuuut there's the manual overide, drive-by-wire mod confusing the whole thing. So what? The wheel is present but it's a wireless peripheral? That's needlessly dumb.

Anyway as to the question, there should be no outgoing matrix traffic really unless the car is searching for info for me or whatever. Guess i should install the drive by wire to cut out matrix problems.

As a follow up question, i said i'd get the Ronin's cyber but am thinking of skipping the synthacardium since i skipped the athletics group and picking up Reakt since he's such a reaction based character (And I took Genetic Heritage anyway) but it's .4 instead of .3 essence. Decent idea or is there even enough room?

There's a longer backstory in the works but the basics are:
Former hovercar racer leaves promising career behind over tragedy.
turns to petty crime and almost dies in a police chase, his best friend did die in that wreck.
he pulls 8 years.
Gets out and hooks back up with Rhonda Dhee (contact) who was the best friends girlfriend, but she and cobra had been messing around the whole time.
Rhonda lets him crash there while she tries to find him some work, she also bought the car they wrecked that night, a DeLorean Quantum (go go 80's future!) and repaired and improved it.
In a moment of sadness she implanted a personality program made to be just like the dead best friend but now cant stand to go near the car.
She gave it to Cobra to work in since the hover conversion is right up his alley
Now he has to figure out the rest of his life and how Rhonda and the holographic ghost of his friend fit into all that.

That +1 to melee dodge defense tests is really weak for 5 bp; splash another style for another +1 DV instead.

The HVBR is not worth it with only one hand. Modify a Praetor instead, or an Ingram SuperMach 100 if you just want SnS spam.

Dipped into boxing for through third DV. Good thinking.

On the big gun front i did a lot of thinking about it. The arm i wAnt to move into doesn't have room for the gyro so im thinking about learning to live without it now.

The praetor i can get 8rc plus one for the nine strength arm giving me -2 from high velocity or 8 dice to roll with my current automatic pool.

The hvbr will accept 9rc (no foregrip for the one armed man) plus one for strength. After hv fire that's -1 plus -2 for one handing a rifle leaving me 7 dice to roll

Seems worth one die for the hvbrs 7p -1ap over the preators 5p 0ap. I think this is sound but am i forgetting something obvious?

One-handing a two-handed weapon is an optional rule, but if your GM allows it then I agree, it's worth it. Do note that the praetor is more concealable (+4 vs. not possible), but that's not the point of the BFG).

The Ingram Supermach is just as good as a HVBR for Stick-n-shock. Stick-n-shock is very good. If you can't hit 11 RC on the HVBR, you may also want a supermach loaded with SnS for that.
