The seed of insult, hit some fertile ground. One who sow wind is one who gather storms, and thus a storm of blows were launched on Sam, along with less then polite words in Japanese.

Quote from: ooc
CT #1, IP #1
[Sam 17, delayed][Thug #1 16][Thug #2 16]

Thug #1 attacks with a sweep maneuver.
Agility(5) + Unarmed Attack(4) + Specialization(2) + Friend in Melee(1) -> 12d6.hits(5)=5

Thug #2 attacks normally but trying to the solar spot
Agility(5) + Unarmed Attack(4) + Specialization(2) + Friend in Melee(1) - IncreaseDamage(2) ->
10d6.hits(5)=2

defense rolls, and then Sam is up.

Sorry for a small delay ;)

...Since when does the Yakuza have Stupid people on their payroll... Sam thought easily avoiding the the sweep.

He was so preoccupied with this thought that the second Ganger was so near that there was no wayto aviod contact, but at least Sam was able to redirect the hit and it slipped past him.
then he drew his Colt man-hunter containing SNS and Ex-Explosive ammo, luckily Sam always keeps his guns on non-leathal, and two bullet are fired at the man who succeeded to touch Sam

Fractal perceives that Lips is having a conversation with someone over his commlink... and hopes for the mage to gain more insight on the case than he is gaining. Then he sits leaned against the wall, and let his conciousness find the confort of being ablaze with information on the Matrix.

In his own node sculpting, he can monitor the Tacsoft information flow (currently, greatly diminished by the lack of action and members), and he knows by it that Lips is receiving information his vital signs provided by Fractal's biomonitor, so he won't have to worry about the elf sudden falling limp. But even so the elf takes a nanosecond to text a short message to the gentleman, short enough as to not disrupt any conversation the mage may be having.

@Lips: Don't worry, I'm diving on the Matrix; tell me if anyone approach ourselves in the alley.

That being done, the elf spends some seconds more searching the Matrix, hoping to find anything about that two guys.

Data Searching on "Denver Yakuza" Yoshiro
2 (Data Search) + 4 (Browse) + 2 (Hot-sim VR) = 8 dice = 1 hit, no glitch

No good. He switches his body on again and rise, thinking that maybe this guys are a little bit too small on the underside of Denver for their informations to glow enough on the Matrix for him to find. He will have to ask the kid afterwards.

While Lips observe their surrounding, he starts to wonder where the rest is, but it might be that his commlink - once again, grrr - is malfunctioning

"While you are there, can you check through this Tactical Network Software, where the rest is?"

Initiative rolls, I'll split the thugs into separate inits.
11 + 11d6.hits(5)=4 -> 15

CT #2, IP #1
[Sam 17, attacked][Thug #1 15][Thug #2 15, full defense]

Sam shoots:
1st 5 hits,
2nd 2 hits

Thug #2 going full defence again.
11d6.hits(5)=2, 10d6.hits(5)=3
and again rerolling misses on first dodge - 9d6.hits(5)=4
1st shot - 6 hits dodged
2nd shot - 3 htis dodged

Thug #1 (seeming specializing in leg usage) is going for the kick this time.
Agility(5) + Unarmed Attack(4) + Specialization(2) + Friend in Melee(1) + Reach(1) -> 13d6.hits(5)=6

As Peaches explained the inevitable with a voice as calm and cold as death, a cold chill ran up Mouse's spine so that he began to shiver. Mouse's mathematical nature would give Flynn a much better chance of survival--actually, Mouse is pretty sure that he would survive. Flynn already said he had grown claws, so the transformation was already beginning. The remaining odds, Mouse had no means to challenge. The problem was the hope that Peaches said didn't exist, only existed in chance (as tenuous as it was.) The hope was to survive the transformation, remember Dianna and be coherent enought to protect her from afar. Each step as unlikely as the next. It would not be the same as though none of this had ever happend, but it was something to hope for given the circumstances. And let's say the gamble worked, then what? He'd be fighting the hunger and insanity only to eventually succumb to the monster within him.  "The hunger will win; it always wins" poped in a memory from some old vampire trid. Mouse is beginning to understand why Unca Omar said if he was bitten, to put a bullet in his head and make sure he's dead. Mouse thought that was probably preferable to the alternative. If he was turned into a ghoul, he would never truly be Mouse again.

He franticly searched for something, some happy ending for this story like they somehow managed to do in the movies. The movies were no help...

Thinking...

Nothing..

So this is what it is like when hope dies...dark, empty, souless.
Mouse's shoulders slumped knowing if there was some possibility out there to resolve this situation in a positive light, he didn't know the answer. He didn't know if anybody did.

He also didn't know what else to say. The shivering didn't seem to want to quit.

Well..we are currently on the mission to prove suspicion, that local Yakuza is dealing with human flesh, making business with ghouls...seems like their greed is even more powerfull than their hatred. We havent proved anything yet, just making preparations for further investigation. Maybe we can find the way to put your demise to best possible light...Well, we have to move on. I dont know if I would rather leave you here or have you with us, so you cannot jump at us from darkness...this is up to our guide to decide, well on our way back, we will talk more. Just...stay yourself. Ive seen enought to know that good man`s life is priceless...

It was a scene like from some kung-fu flick (though the more knowledgable observers would have recognized Aikido stances) with spectacular kicks, sweeps, blows and shots parried and dodged at the last instance, with bullets flying in all directions as Sam was trying to pin down the thug.

The Yakuza guys seem to know themselves good enough, that on a signal given by the one you're shooting they spread out in two directions drawing their light guns and hiding behind table of the beer garden and a nearby car and shooting from behind them.

Quote from: ooc

free action: move
quick draws: Reaction(6) + Pistols(4) + Specialization(2) (treshold 3) 11d6.hits(5)=4, 11d6.hits(5)=7, I've counted the dices wrongly, and should add one more, but it do not matter. Thug #2 scored critical success on that roll giving him +1 dice for the shoot.

9d6.hits(5)=5, 8d6.hits(5)=3, 10d6.hits(5)=2, 8d6.hits(5)=3
Thug #1
Agility(5) + Pistols(4) + Specialization (2) - Firing from good cover(2)  -> 9d6 -> 5 hits
Agility(5) + Pistols(4) + Specialization (2) - Firing from good cover(2) - Recoil(1, for second shots) -> 8d6 -> 3 hits
Thug #2
Agility(5) + Pistols(4) + Specialization (2) - Firing from good cover(2) + Critical Quick Draw success(1) -> 10d6 -> 2 hits
Agility(5) + Pistols(4) + Specialization (2) - Firing from good cover(2) - Recoil(1, for second shots) -> 8d6 -> 2 hits

they got you currently in cross fire, you can still see both of them, but if they spread any further - one of them will get behind you, getting a superior position bonus from shooting at your back.

Peaches just shrugged. Your call Igbo. I won't be charging extra for one more tourist.
on our way back, we will talk more. Just...stay yourself.

Flynn agreed without any argument. You want me to stay here? All right.

OK. Peaches, lead the way. D1 is point right behind you, D2 is rear guard. Mouse...kid...put yourself together and stay allert. Its only a few yards more.

Once again, Omar begin his "guided walk", since darkness is omnipresent here, he relies on the radar readings from both drones, when moving forward. Every few meters, he stops and crouches for a few seconds, checking sensor readings from drones. Once he decides nothing is out of usual, he continues.

Mental note: Upgrade those fuckin eyes back to normal state. Despite I was promissed safe cocoon in Ferrari Appaloosa, and Im crawling around in drain pipes like a molerat. If I knew this, Ive upgraded my replacements yet in Lagos...or I had my burned-out eyes replaced with some cloned ones...Ive never imagined that human doctor would be such a lame to forget to install LowLight option for ork patient...

After few hundreds meters, and several small branching tunnels taken by Peaches left or right without obvious telling but without doubts also you've closed to a intersection with a very wide (close to 12 meters) tunnel. Peaches made a long break here listening to the sounds of tunnels.

Quote from: ooc
make an audio perception roll

According to the reading from Dobbercats bearings, you've came from western exit. She point east. That way is a tunnel to Aurora Warrens.
They come here and head north toward the downtown. We go south. That tunnel is a dead end as far as I know, and leads to the closest position of what you marked on as a teahouse. There are several branches but all eventually closed or collapsed. From that point we need to hurry, we don't want to be cut off.

If Peaches still has the light (or if there is sufficient light) for Mouse to use his low-light vision he will use that; otherwise, Mouse reverts back to his ultra sound eyes.

As Peaches stops at the intersection to listen, Mouse only half-heartedly listens to the sounds of the tunnel. He's too busy looking around (left, right, up, down, front, back) to make sure nothing gets the drop on them.
Intuition(5)+perception(2)=7d6.hits(5)=1 no glitch

We go to the south along a dead end tunnel. That was a poor choice of words, he thought. He's not sure if he really wants to go down that tunnel or not; it seemed like ringing the dinner bell to him.

He does a quick scan to see if he can catch any nodes from within the tunnel intersection and look for any hidden by taking a moment to go into VR.
EW(4)+Scan(3)+2TM-4Sus=5d6.hits(5)=2

Now that the Boys from Yakuza had backed to some cover and gotten their stingers out, he was in his element. This turn of events allowed Sam to breath easier, as he was used more to Gun fights then to Fistfights and that showed.
The position he was in was tactically unwise, they soon could surround him, and the would mean some unpleasant surprises. So first thing to do was to gain some tactical tactical advantage :)

Tactical retreat was in the book the best choice he could make, so Sam turned and using quick side steps run toward the nearest building, while still dodging the bullets being fired towards him.

Quote from: OOC
Sam dodges with ease while running, by the way you have 2 dice less on the attack :)
16d6.hits(5) = (7)
16d6.hits(5)  = (5)
16d6.hits(5)  = (7)
16d6.hits(5)  = (5)

Guess even with all the mod i still dodge them all :)
IP3
He conditioned to run until he was around the corner of the building, he turned around it, dropped his Jacket on the ground, while activating his Chameleon suite.
