Softly, Mouse wispers Ok, Unca Omar. He'll help pull the cable and micro tapper bug up to the bars. While Unca Omar finds the location of a good place to tap onto, he begins to work on the modifications needed for his satellite uplink to use it more as a comlink, just like they did on the last mission.
All set.
...
Once back to the van, Unca Omar gives Mouse the nod. Mouse gets himself comfortable and with a mere thought physical reality disappears and Mouse is home. He had managed to compile a couple good patches to his stealth and exploit programs, that while a pain in the but to sustain for all this time, would now be worth the effort.

Hmmm...multiple encrypted periperal nodes and what seems to be the central node. If they bothered to encrypt an internal LAN cut off from the rest of the 'trix then Mouse will scan for data bombs starting with what appears to be the main node.

@Team: "Here's the main facts we could dig up while on the teahouse:
 - Mayuri wants to quit geisha life 'cause she is in love with a guy named Shijeo Iijima; Iijima is an Yak, but of low rank and can't ask demand anything from the organization;
- Their interest in each other is still kept secret; If their affair becomes know, the most probable course of action Madame Kikuya will take is to force Mayuri to commit sepukku;
- If Mayuri runs away, she believes the Yaks will kill Shijeo Iijima;
- Mayuri really believes she owns her okiya, and wants to leave without causing any situation which would dishonor the house;
- There are only two people who could "officialy" free Mayuri from her geisha duties at the Kikuya Teahouse; Madame Kikuya, the Okā-san of the Aikiwa okiya, and Yoshiro, the Yak who currently fills the role of this district lieutnant;
- Mayuri has already tried talking to Madame Kikuya, but to no effect; still, she does not discard the possibility that a better talker could still convince her;
- Yoshiro seems to be a cruel guy with not much honor, who uses his position to get what he wants (although he is ethnically Japanese, he was born on the UCAS); He can be found at the Lucky Eight bar (UCAS District)
[adress anexed];
- Madame Kikuya has started her career as a geisha for the Aikiwa House (in Japan); she retired due to her age, and was giving the honorific duty of overseeing the geisha house and tea house in Denver.
- Mayuri paints Kikuya as being firm yet fair, and quite honorable. She also thinks that the Okā-san does not easily accept her own age, miss being a geisha and can't understand someone as succesful on this career as Mayuri wanting to leave, when all she wanted was to still be one;
- If we really want the data, we must free Mayuri without dishonoring the Yakuza or the Aikiwa house, without hurting Iijima and without putting Mayuri to risk;
- I am digging more information on Yoshiro and Iijima with a contact, but I doubt anything useful will appear; Lips is doing the same; The thing is, I really doubt we could make a rising star of Iijima among the Yaks in just one day in order for him to be in a position to demand anything, so that's something I have already discarded from our possibilities;
- Yoshiro does not sound to me as the correct point of pressure to further our goals, my bet is on Kikuya, we can find her at her geisha school
[adress anexed];"

"Well, Mr. Lips, as it seems, Mouse and Omar are directing themselves to the Rover; and Sam will be here shortly. I guess we should just wait for our ride to come pick us up."

When closing in, Omar uses D1 to advance to the possition where Flynn waits.
He checks his Thermographic readings and compare with previous state, then uses drones voice output

Flynn? Are you still with us?

Yessss ... is his rasping harsher?

You noticed, that he smoked all of the cigaretes you've left him. He must have chainsmoked them.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

While still waiting for the ride and for Sam to arrive, Fractal streams another message to Mouse, with a research request:

@Mouse: "Hey, kid, I've gotta something to ask you to do: could you please dive into the Matrix (both the Aikiwa's teahouse particular one where you implanted my bug and also the universal unrestricted net) and search for any piece of data you could find regarding these three people?
- Madame Kikuya of the Aikiwa Okiya;
- Yoshiro, Yakuza lieutnant in Denver;
- Shijeo Iijima, Yakuza small-fry.
The order in which I sent the names are also the order of our priorities... I believe I could have an easier time convincing Madame Kikuya in removing the bounds of Mayuri than the others (the things Mayuri implied about her makes me pretty convinced that I can do that; maybe just by "emotional warfare" - but it would be nice to have even more information on her - better safe than sorry, isn't it?). I've already tried searching on them, but my trust in the skills of our wonder-boy weights more than in mine skills in regards to the Matrix. Anyway, thanks."

Emotional warfare... seriously, Fractal? Well, it's not exactly what the changeling is thinking about, but it's also not completely untrue. What he has in mind is using the information he digged up on Madame Kikuya to flame her pride again and use this - and a certain understanding of how to debate art, artistic procedures and so on on Japanese culture - to convince her on the best way to serve the Aikiwa House, the Geisha affairs and Japanese culture in general...

Which, in short, was really a matter of both "emotional warfare" and "aesthetic warfare"; Fractal is in his good day to create new concepts.

Shit. Thirty minutes and he barely recalls his relatives. Being a psychologict, I would say that he is loosing his emotional track. At least he keeps his racio.

OK, Flynn. Hang on those things...once you feel you cannot recall your wife, shot your head off.
No, Im not joking.
We have finished our surveillance setup, now we have to wait if we are able to catch them commiting the crime. You cannot go with us on the streets, since sunlight would burn you badly. Too bad you`ve crashed your com. Well if you got watch, lets meet here in six hours. If you are not sure you will make it, stay here and wait for us. We try to track down their meeting place and time. If you go into tunnels, just stick with some group of ghouls, they may lead you there this way or another. Wait...Mouse, do we have some spare commlink we can lend the guy? Im not sure I guess we should have art least one from those ricemen from last mission, well, I really am not sure.
Confirm that you understand so far, Flynn.

[Omar finishes his string of questions]
Mouse chimes in with: and don't forget about the baby! Did you pick out a name yet?

[Omar finishes if you forget shoot you head off]
Mouse wasn't too happy on how things were turning out for Mr. Flynn but there wasn't anything he could think of to do about it.

@Omar: Sorry, Unca Omar. I don't have a spare com link. Mr. Lips I believe had a spare, but I don't know if he brought it with him. He is still in the tea house and is unreachable at the moment. I can check the van to see if the spare is lying around there; but, I don't think Mr. Lips' com link would be strong enough to penetrate the sewers. My com link is barely sufficient. I can check the van or maybe even find/repair his own com link.
He has a smaller speaker, but I can leave Wiz here to watch him Unca Omar.

We were working evening so if one of the local street cams shows the sun has setted, then I send:
@Omar: I believe the sun has set by now Unca Omar. <<ARO: of local street camera>>

Comp(4)+Analyze(5)+2TM-4sus=7d6.hits(5)=5

There was a data bomb on the main node:
I am going to use my crack sprite to defuse the databomb (2 remaining)
sprite defuse hacking(4)+Defuse(4)+Edge(4)= 12d6.hitsopen(5,6)=8
2 services remaining

While still waiting for the ride and for Sam to arrive, Fractal streams another message to Mouse, with a research request:

Mouse will send his data sprite to do a matrix search on the three people in order that Mr. Fractal gave and then on the two Yakuzza goons that Unca Sam sent me.
@Sam, Fractal: Ok I am looking into it.

OK Flynn. Stay here. Ill sent you the flyspy guide once I got back on surface. Hang on, man.

few meters away, Omar turns on his flashlight and they finnaly reach the Rover. tactical disply shows him, that rest of the team is on their way, so he choses the shortest way to pick them up, and assembles whole team together again. Mouse slipped away right at the moment he falls in his seat, and while Omar jackes in, he saw icons and agents...sprites, as Mouse called them...running around. Omar scans the results of teahouse node infrastructure, and then he focuses on handling. Fly spy, left on the street near teahouse, is given wayoints and commanded to reach Flynn`s location. Omar wasnt sure how this ends, well he was patiently waiting for the team meeting so he can discuss his thoughts with Fractal and others. there was something...

The sprite defused the bomb without much problem, leaving you the encrypted node to watch on.
This is a strong encryption on the node itself. There is no encryption on the peripherals nor on the communication lines. Browsing through the list you recognize off-the-shelf nodes for cameras, and various sensors rangign from smoke detectors to motion detectors and microphones.

Quote from: ooc

Databomb resist -> rating 5 + rating 5 -> 10d6.hits(5)=2

Teahouse master node stats: System 5, Firewall 5, Response 5, Signal (effective 0).

peripherals devices are rating 3-5. Hacking any of them means a +2 to their detection rolls, they do not have internal analyze program.
Editing footage type of actions on the peripherals require admin account, passive browse of contnent require user account, there is no security account.

The signal might be passively analyzed or actively faked with a sniffer type of actions without much problems.
You'll surely have time to hack or try to hack any number of them before you arrive to the meeting point, however the time is too short to decrypt the node (interval seems to be longer than 15 minutes at least), and there is no info as of yet from the data sprite. I'll update as soon as enough time pass. Unless you wait for the results of course.

The time is closing toward 10 p.m., 22 hours left to your self imposed deadline.

Sorry for a small delay ;)

And so the Rover arrives at the spot where Fractal and Lips are waiting for it. Entering the vehicle, Fractal perceives through the TacNet that Sam is also just arriving there, so the team is reunited.

"Well, guys, what news do you have to share? Most of what I had to say I already sent in my report... gosh, I hope I don't make this an habit, you know? I really preffer talking face to face."
