You know...we have nothing in common with KE, do we?

"Sorry, maybe I'm just a little bit confused by it all. Still, the providencial arrival of KE just when we want to proove a point may raise suspicion. Maybe not from that Yoshiro guy - one who rules by force -, but certainly by the old lady - who rules by grace. I'm just at a loss of words on how to turn this situation at our advantage."

I see your point. Well, I guess we should wait a while what the response from teahouse and street would be, meanwhile we can look for that lover and some more clues. Im really currious about that medical equipement and matrix gear they had bought.
Also...maybe our lady would change her opinion on leaving the house quietly without causing it any harm. Also...I cannot recall our cat friend to ask us to be subtle on this. She only told us that we need to get the datachip and that Mayuri would be willing to give us intel if we help her. It was that whore who want to quit the house without causing it any harm. And that could have changed now...
This way or another, this is exactly that much subtlety I care to use for bloody 6 thousand bucks, which is what I get from this job. SSDD if you ask me.
Also...
we didnt even begin and we have man down. Maybe we can look for some replacement for Sam. I hate to say that, since we werent exactly on the same wavelenght with that guy, but despites I didnt like those pacifist postures of his, I hate to continue without reliable muscle even more...as he was reliable from time to time...at least as a cannon fodder  :-\

Tired of such long conversation, Omar jumps into the FlySpy drone and through the cleared drainage pipe to the basement of a teahouse, right after KE team seems to leave.

"It does not surprise me that you don't remember Tabby's words, even though a grand-schemer and surged, she still spots that troblesome XX-genes, after all." - Fractal says, joking. - " Lemme refresh your memory on this issue, though, since there's cash and rep on this bet, chum: Tabby said she is thinking on promoting us as her Number One 'Runner's Team, Tabbitha Morgan' Team To-Go, or whatever you may like it... That means: she is seriously thinking in raising the numbers in our paychecks and putting us among the big leagues. Still, she wants to know if we are that good, if we are that versatile. I won't recall her exact words, but they were something along these lines. "I have seen you making big pictures, now I want to see if you can go by subtlety." What I'm saying is: she is evaluating us on this job, and if we fare well enough, bingo, then we score high - we go to Denver Prime, or whatever. What troubles me is, well, subtlety is already out of the window, we so far we accomplished next to nothing."

Fractal sighs.

"I'm not blaming you for that. Hell, you gotta a ghoul problem, and you managed it mostly alone; I had no idea what to do about it, and I wouldn't like to be on your skin." At exactly the same time as Fractal pronounces this words, he send a private message to Omar:
@Omar: "And you may paint you however you like; Omar, our reckeless no-pacifist monster DID feel sorry about the tin-man turned zombie. I can see it." Without any interruption, though, he goes on: "The fact is, we need to work with what we have in hands, what is done is done, so there's no hope in regretting. My particular view on everything now is that all we need is to reach this Yoshiro guy and stamp his braggart-issues on his face, hope he does not wet all the place and just comply with our orders. If he plays hard, we found the next one in the sucession line, give him the info on how bad Yoshiro is playing and offer him a nice discount to zero the fragger. Cappiche?"

@Fractal: You bet I did

Look. Not even Tabby can blame us for this. Can you blame runners for the rain? Or for the fact that Sun rises and descends every day? All we have to do is to deal with consequences. Since distraction was done, we even have better chance of this so called subtlety. We did no harm to anyone so far. The only thing that has been done...
and OK, You now me beeter than that and I wont lie to you...I will take responsibility if my contact fails to be discrete on the source of an information...
the only thing that has been done is a bit of chaoss.
Discrete work doesnt mean that you have to walk around on a cats paw. It is about...the real purpose remain hidden while there is something that catches attention of the audience. Like pre-awakening magical tricks. OK? So here we have our distraction. Tabby doesnt know we are responsible for it. Even Mayuri doesn`t know we are responsible for it. I put a trust into my man. I hope it holds. I also believe that coyote won`t compromise us, since I avoid to compromise her secrets. We can even ride in on the white horse and save Mayuri from this terrible place that is swarming with ghouls :)

Fractal can't help but laugh an amiable laugh when Omar mention riding on a white horse. Gosh, just imagine the scene.

"Don't worry, man. As I said, I'm not blaming anyone. And damn, you are quite right on what you said now. No one has any reason YET to be suspicious of us or Mayuri... Yet. We can still work this around, and it's quite nice of you to remind us that. I was already jumping to the conclusion we botched this, then I would be careless and really paint or name on it all." Fractal is exageratting, but it's really the point. If Omar haven't told him they hadn't yet showed their faces, he would just assume that this secrecy was not worth being protected.

After a very, very brief while: "I trust that if Sam was here he would like where your mind was going with the white horse thing."

While Unca Omar is reconning with Wiz, Mouse will close down his subscriptions in the various security nodes and remove his trace from the tea house. He will then take command of the micro tapper drone and have it start to move itself and the data cable connected to it out of the passage and out of the way and hopefully where it will not be spotted.
@Team: Breaking contact with tea house nodes...broken. Unca Omar, I'm moving tapper out of the way, I'll make sure you still have enough signal strength to keep Wiz going, we won't have much time. Hopefully we can hide the tapper, cable, and my satellite uplink sufficiently.

As the drone starts moving, Mouse will transfer data from the drone and purge the system (logs, routing tables, etc) so that if taken, they won't know what we were up to. This would include the uplink.

"So, guys, what are we waiting for? Let's ride to the Lucky Eight and have a quick and nice chat with the Yak... You gun-go guys can make a whole military operation at the bar doors - if anything go wrong, you storm the place, and if everything goes right, then some well-placed cannon barrels are always good arguments."

"We won't go guns blazing inside that damn bar, Omar. I will go there, and I will threat him... in a safe and sound way. We have information he would like silenced, but when one's say: 'My biomonitor is being monitored by my friends, and in case it shows any funny signal, your secrets will be revealed', usually people which have glass roof will tread lightly. Don't worry, guys. I will go inside alone, unknown threats are scarier, anyway."

As you were discussing your options, three cars have arrived spilling out asians left and right. They made quite a show of their arrival. They made no effort to hide long weapons nor heavy armor, both of which are considered illegal and would be a reason for arrest if seen or caught by police. Among them you see a man with a greasy hair combed back into a ponytail, wearing brown colored suit with a jacket thrown over bullet-proof vest. The face is the same as the one provided by Jack and Mouse - it's Yoshiro.

The goons shooed remaining VIP form his tea ceremony, reserving appropriate apologies, but insisting never the less. As soon as the the house was cleared Yakuza (this is seen from the inside cameras) started methodically combing over the house in search of surveliance device other than the ones originally installed and all of the original ones were double checked for tampering with.

Quote from: ooc
Mouse finished his trace removal from peripherals succesfully and you've lost the view on the inside other than the flyspy. There was no tampering so there is no easy findings of your presence in the nodes, but the presence of additional node in the closed network will be found in the master node log. It's the matter of time and how good their hackers are.

Finding the microtapper bug is certain (it is to small to escape). There is a small chance it will be passed by if you turn it off.

Finding the FlySpy unless you immediately flee down the tunnels is also quite possible. They move slow enough to be sure no hidden nodes are in the places they pass.
