Fractal was too self-conscious that he was almost without credit; his few gambling attempts have also demonstrated he was out of luck. From here, ha has clear shot on buildings energy lines, so he may be able to create little EMP storm if his partners need smoke screen on exit. With some luck, shot fired through the basement window, visible from this angle, would disrupt some casino tables or other machinery, well Omar does not count on this too much.

Chameleon coated Dobbey with silenced SMG finds its place on the wall next to the window in the 1st floor. According to map overlay provided by sensor survey there is corridor behind the window, so the drone would be able to move inside the building without the need of bashing the doors or something.

Less decent firepower, D1 armed with White Knight LMG, stays on the place with clear shot on entrance and is ready to engage eventual reinforcements.

Finaly, Omar drives Rover to the possition where not only he is able to spray the building with machine gun fire, but also with distance sufficient to get enought momentum if he has to break the wall of the building to provide escape route.

given, that they have your link inside, both Omar and Mouse could perform their scan for hidden nodes starting from your link inside. There is nothing inhibiting matrix access.
assuming they do (which is both fast and easy), they can compile you a list of around 30 hidden nodes in immediate vicinity. basically anybody inside having a 'link is not broadcasting his SIN and keep it hidden. The only easily accesible nodes are the casino node operating AR games. it has signal of 1 so you need to be inside the building to access it.

The node might be stealthed however, so you both roll for matric perception opposed (or teamworked) to check if you can spot it.
Omar's buying hits on security design skill however suggest that it would be major flaw to have high-value data accessible from such a crowded place.

rightly so, there is no window to the basement. The best you can count on is shooting through the wall and ceiling. would need to check, if you want, but I don't think anything below white knight can pierce that much of the structure

whenever you feel like doing so, make an infiltration roll against teamworked two guards, for each spent 5 minutes you get a +1 opportunity modifer, to a maximum +4 and immediatelly get to the casion. You can also take a longer way through the first floor, but you'll need to pass the upper floor guards first, then the ground level ones in the lobby. On any case, make another roll for the guards in the basement.

There is nothign you can immediatelly spot. The logs are pristine clean until Sam's nodes connection were severed and his node encrypted. Mouse report resonance signatures though. It seems you've been infiltrated by technomancer. You can't find him, nor any sprites in your node.

GM note: that thread is not critical for the run, unless you insists to follow it will resolve it post the main run, probably in downtime. The only thing of note is that he is tagged as somebody's property, his location probably known, so a retrieval team is on the way.

Fractal gives some quick glances on the AR layout his friend has provided, and then superimpose it with the searches he was doing himself, trying to figure something out of it. But as far as the  gaming tables have already showed him, the deed will probably not be so easily done. While his joyful facade is unbalanced in his sweet-talk act, inside the elf is cursing that now the team lacks their invisible man.

You did not identified any node that might be the one containing the data you're looking for. It's either having the wifi disabled or is running Stealth rating 3 or more.

A fine bead curtain separates the casino area from the hallway leading to the offices. While there is a lot of commotion from the guest moving from table to table forcing the guards to move with the flow, there is at least one guard nearby the entrance at all time.

Mouse's jaw drops open, eyes bulging wide. Mouthing something incomprhendable and inaudible at the same time he almost looks like one of those old cartoon characters from the 2d screens. Looks like Mr. Fractal is just as surprised as he is to hear od Unca Sam's demise. by the time Mouse gets back into the car, Unca Omar has already rebooted Sam's node. Using his skin link ability, Mouse will start examining unca sams various PAN nodes...And he was so looking forward to getting laid.

Not needing his current stealth or encryption forms at the moment and getting to the bottom of this quickly is top priority, Mouse will drop them so that he can fully focus on searching for what happened to Unca Sam. His priorities are to find the intruder if still haunting our nodes, find out what was done to kill him, how the intruder hacked our nodes, ensure our vulnerability is patched, and find out who/what did this. Since he is responsible for the security of his team's network, he has much to answer for. (The resonance signature he discovers, does he recognize it and if not then, he will remember it.) he also has to do this quickly as members of his team have already entered the casino.

A closer analysis of the attck left you with impression, that indeed you're the weakest link. It seems that as your own bionode cannot be encrypted it was a matter of breaking the signal encryption you're maintaining with Omar's nodes. With your admin account on some nodes (most notably your drones and you peripherals) the nodes were used to grab encryption keys for the strong encrypted nodes that you had to store outside your bionode. Having those inturder sliced through Omar nodes to the Sam's ones and from there he overrode the existing admin acounts, uploaded new OS, and rebooted. No trace after that.

You've guessed that much only because of the Resonance traces. Achieving that much, you felt a shiver of sort. There was nothing preventing the intruder from setting drones in the van to open fire. Nothing.

I'll spare you the rolls, to detect complex forms of rating 10 (like the ones you use now) you can have hours of time and with your skill getting 3 hits on matric perception is not a problem, an occasional 5 hits, would yield you information that inturder used exploit and stealth forms most often.

The logs on all hacked nodes are clean. The resonance traces are probably left because he had to maintain connection to the Sam node before rebooting it. And to remian undetected he had to rely on high level stealth. As per normal rules you'll recognize the signature if you meet it again.
