Incoming are five HD Scorpions (That's what Omar registered) rode by Godz (that's what Silk noted) armed in shock lances (basicaly stun bations on two meter long pole, latest toy of the go-gangs) (that's what John marked as first priority info).
The leading bike launched something that landed some 15 meters away from you and exploded in smoke.

Quote from: ooc
I'll skip you the judge intentions roll, what's going to happen is that they will pass through the smoke, and zap you with their shock lances.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

EW(4+2spec) + Scan(3) +2 TM -2Sus=9d6.hits(5)=5
Their nodes start to filter in; he thinks that he has gotten a little better at scanning for nodes.

There are motorcycles nodes and commlinks, other nodes must have signal 0 or 1 and are outside your mutual signal range.

Are they going full speed?

not full, about 70-80 km/h, a fast pace, reasonable for high chance of hitting with that 'thing'.

Quote from: ooc
you got 1 melee round before they'll be upon you (they cover about 80 meters per 3 seconds if math isn't failing me today)

Matrix Perception (for which nodes are for which bikers:

thats your 2nd and 3rd IP before next round
the motorcycles are rating 4 devices and hence have firewall 4, system 4. they are also slaved under commlinks which are having firewall 4 and system 3.

the exit routes are fairly simple - either straight on the fastlane for exit or betweeen blocks for a fight and/or to disappear in crowd.

Silk decided that maybe taking cover behind the bench wouldn't be a bad idea.
Maybe I should see if I can stop this thing before it even starts.
While she got up and moved for cover, a inhumanly loud voice boomed in the air above.
"Hit your front brakes, hard!"
It sounded like... Karl Kombatmage?

Bah, edge reroll:  Reroll misses (11d6.hits(5)=5)
Not sure what the right english words would be to make them do this; but I figure this'll get the message across, no?

A little bit closer, a little bit closer. One could curse himself for not bringing a long range gun to this fight, but Snakebite knew better. If these champs were going to try to get him, they would need to get real closer - and then his girls would be more than enough to stop the bikers. Aspis would be his primary choice, but riders usually wear some good jackets and the distance means he will not be able to properly aim... So his mind and his heart quickly turn their attention to Audrey.

Quote from: Simple Action - Quick Draw
8 (Reaction) + 6 (Pistols) = 14 dice (Threshold 3) = 2 hits, no glitch

Maybe Aspis being the first choice made the Gentleman lose his time in taking out Audrey (or maybe the gun noticed she was not the first choice and in her jealousy resisted a bit in coming out of his suit), but whatever the case was, just a brief moment passed and a fluid movement produced a heavy pistol. Despite how fast it was, on the ork mind the words "too late" were echoing.

Gun in hands, he just waited for the moment in which they would get closer.

Tough plastic foil, usualy used to protect inside of the sidecar from the rain, stretches and cracks, same goes for a few metal sheets around the passenger possition. Omar didn`t count on that he would really need to deploy D1 quickly, and the drone was a bit squeezed inside.

Lessons learned

He didn`t waste any time trying not to scratch his new bike. As long as he lives, repairs can be done. Finaly, he frees himself and dog-like drone jumps forward to protect Omar's lying body, machine gun barrell moving according to smartgun trying to identify targets via sensors.
Too bad I have no zapzap ammo left.For them.

Kinesics don't apply also - this is posture, body movement, eye movement etc. nothing that they can spot from 50 meters across the smoke, so we atart with 10 dices.
[6,1,2,4,3,1,2,1,2,6,2,1,1] = (2), no change to the base roll
[6,4,3,4,4,5,3,6,1,6,5] = (5)  scratching two hits from the latter roll to a total of 5 hits.

There is no difficulty in hearing you - 100 db is just a little louder than large orchestra (98 dB) and a little quiter then a starting jet plane (120 dB), the difficulty is about understanding the exact word on such volume

The resistance roll (choosing largest pool) Leadership(2) + Willpower(3) + MultipleDefenders(4) + Range/Volume(2) -> 11d6.hits(5)=4 1 net hit

one of the go-gangers presses his front brakes and catapults himself out of his bike and tumbels down the road over the grassy field

The group is riding about 15 meters per second. so there is going to be a single IP of direct exchange.
remaining four of them will pass within a single combat turn. but there are going to be ony one directly ahead.

after that they will be too far to retaliate (though of course shooting into their back is clearly possible)

they're doing evasive manevuers - they will appear in different point of the smoke line, they will appear at slightly different speed.
they try to surprise you and attack before you'll be able to
gangers surprise roll -> Reaction + Initiative -> 7d6.hits(5)=3

Omar makes a sensor + perception -3 Electric Powered vehicle/human signature roll against their Reaction (4) + Infiltration (-1) + handling(2) -> 5d6.hits(5)=1 2 hits or more are necessary to lock on and if locked on is unaffected by surprise

Sensors-Radar(6)+Perception(4)+VR/RIG(4) (14d6.hits(5)=4)

scratching 3 dices [2,4,1,2,5,4,5,6,3,2,3,2,5,1] = (4) , 3 hits, lock on, unaffected by surprise

John and Silk make an surprise roll (you need to react fairly quickly) or they'll be upon you. You need to get 4 hits, to act before them, 3 hits will mean you can do simultaneous attacks, less then 3 means you'll be acting after them, glitch means you'll be unable to act at all.

Silk receives good cover of course shall she be targetted.
Suppresive fire if used can cover two of the five bikers.

there will be four consecutive attacks.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Quote from: Surprise Roll
8 (Reaction) + 4 (Intuition) = 12 dice = 3 hits, no glitch

As the form of one of the bikers became clear on the smoke, Snakebite arm just pointed into it's direction as if controlled by it's own volition.  The melody of guns blazing joined the chorus of  roaring engines and Karl Kombatmage mystic orders.

Quote from: Attack Rolls
Snakebite is carrying a Audrey, a smartlinked Ruger Thunderbolt loaded with Ex-Explosive Rounds (6P, -2 AP). This gun can only fire in Burst Mode, so Snakebite will shot two Narrow Bursts at one of the bikers (the one he managed to figure the shape first (Narrow Burst = +2 DV; Audrey has 5 of Recoil Compensation, so there's no Recoil Penalty on Snakebite rolls). If they are at
First Narrow Burst: 7 (Agility) + 6 (Pistols) + 2 (Smartlink) = 15 dice = 6 hits, no glitch *
* I rolled considering that the biker is at a distance of less than 20 meters (medium range for a heavy pistol), so that Snakebite has no range penalty (due to being Hawk Eyed). If the biker is farther than that, but yet not farther than 40m, then we should consider a -1 penalty, and the roll result is unaffected. Being at extreme range would mean that two hits should be dropped.
Second  Narrow Burst: 7 (Agility) + 6 (Pistols) + 2 (Smartlink) = 15 dice = 4 hits, no glitch
* Same thing as before, the roll results would only change if he was shooting at extreme range (and then it would drop one hit).

As the bullets were propelled out of the gun chamber, addressed to one of the riders, the suave thumping of the pistol massaged Snakebite's arms. He felt his love for his gun answered, and even before the lead had crossed all their route, his lips were already forming a joyful smile.

Maybe things were dire, but life was still good.

Like hell I'm going to be shishkebab'ed by a bunch of low-life go-gangers., Silk thought as she dived behind and rolled under the bench.
She turned off her clothing's holowear projection, revealing the ruthenium polymer coating lying underneath it; her outfit rapidly took the appearance of her surroundings, making her almost invisible.
Almost, but she figured it'd be enough to hide her from a bunch of bikers driving through a cloud of smoke at high speed. They'd have to pay attention to the ork with a pistol and the combat drone waiting for them. And even if they went in her direction, she hoped the ork slouching on the bench make a more obvious and attractive target.

Mouse will triangulate the bike nodes and operator comlinks locations and place them on a map complete with trajectories and speeds and send those to Unca Omar, Silk, and John.

First IP:
@Silk, John: Introductions will have to wait. Here's your situation...<<ARO Area Map, with biker/bike locations, trajectories, and speeds. Including their locations relative to the bikers>>
Omar should see the same tactical display through our tacnet.

Second, third, 4th, and 5th IP: hack on the fly lead biker's bike node (admin privileges) FW4+2 slave node
Hacking(4+2) + Exploit(5 + 2) + 2TM = 15d6.hits(5)=6, 15d6.hits(5)=5, 15d6.hits(5)=3
Privileges acquired in 3IPs I'll probably trigger an alarm so I will use Mute option and disable

You all get a realtime transmission from the of the current situation (view from the above) with updated tracking lockation of a single motor (lock acquired by the drone) visual of the crashed one (by Silk) and estimates (range 5 meters) of the remaining three within the smoke cloud.

The update came as a small surprise to Silk and John.

as soon as the first of the bikers appeared (or rather bike as the biker was laying low on it), John begun pumping bullets in the narrow bursts:

Quote from: ooc
since you rolled 3 on reaction, the attack was going to be simultaneus, but the ganger backed up seeing a business end of the gun pointed at him and instead dropped his bike to a slide in an attempt to full dodge.

*got a problem with resolving this, so in case of doubt voice in OOC, and will change it possibly
** the problem is because the ganger is ON the vehicle not INSIDE (as per our recent discussion)

I can resolve it either by bike maneuver using
Reaction 4 + Pilot GroundCraft(4) + Specialization(bikes, 2) + Handling(2) + Running(2) -> total 14 dices

or by ganger dodge over the bike using
Reaction(4) + Dodge(3) + Specialization(ranged, 2) + Running(2) + DefenderInsideRunningVehicle(0, had he been inside, I'd use 3) + GoodCover(0, had he been inside I'd use good cover and 4) - DefendingInsideVehicle(2, he has even lower capability to dodge bullets than inside the car) -> total 9 dices

I am going to use the fist, for it's more cinematic (but you said, you're shooting a passenger not a vehicle so I am ready to change
maneuver dodge -> maneuver dodge - Reaction 4 + Pilot GroundCraft(4) + Specialization(bikes, 2) + Handling(2) + Running(2) (14d6.hits(5)=5) HIT, 1 net hit
maneuver dodge - Reaction 4 + Pilot GroundCraft(4) + Specialization(bikes, 2) + Handling(2) + Running(2) - ConsecutiveDodge(1) (13d6.hits(5)=6) DODGED

soaking damage 6P + 1 +2, -2 AP
Damage Resist Body(3) + BikerArmor(5, no helmet but legs and arms casings) - ArmorPiercing(2) -> 8d6.hits(5)=4, scratching 2 hits for ArmorPierce soaked 7P

as the ganger emerged from the fog and faced a business end of the gun pointed at him he immediatelly put his bike into a slide in an attempt to full dodge, but the bullets catched him anyway and stopped in place saddling out from the bike, that slided further...

just as the second one appeared, he was greeted with ...

Quote from: ooc
Omar, dorne is up, he get +1 to his gunnery test due to active lock on by sensors.

Attack rolls
1st Short narrow round called for front wheel of one of bikers, that is on collision trajectory with Omars body.
2nd Long narrow round another ganger. Sensor targetting: Shooting before they pass the smoke line

Sensor(6)+Gunnery(4)+VR/RIG(4)+Smartgun(2) (16d6.hits(5)=8, 16d6.hits(5)=3)
Scratch 2dices from second roll (second target)=2 hits

DV: 8 AP-1, 10 AP-1
