I'm wondering if I should either take Delir Emet as a Conjuring emphasized Zoastrian (from VU93) or simply do the Heavy Weapons Troll?

A support and healing mage would be good. Buff me and Ice--so Ice can save his actions--with Increase Strength and Increase Body and keep everyone patched up. Then there's also the more utilitarian spells.

I don't need Increase Strength and Body. I'm a possession mage with Channeling. I summon a spirit and have it possess me.

We do but he seems to focus on drones, a hacker or second technomancer is never a bad thing. Also the only people I have as complete and ready to play are in the OP. All4 has a fire support, support character and Ny has a technomancer drone rigger/hacker.

With that in mind I think Shrike might be the better choice and spend some of those extra points to get better at hacking and shift her away from the drones a bit.

Sorry about that. I thought they stacked, as in go to augmented max with the spells and then go beyond with the spirit's Force. I could be wrong in that, but it sounded cool.

No, they only go up to augmented max.

Now possessed mages can still only go up to the augmented max, right?

Also, when possessed, doesn't that put you under the spirit's control, at least partially? That'd be bad.

For a possession mage possessing himself with a spirit he summoned or bound, it puts the spirit in control, but the spirit is still under your control. It is like a rigger controlling a drone without jumping in.

However, if you have the Channeling metamagic, like I do, then you remain in control when one of your spirits possesses you.
