True, but one of the perks of playing a mage is not automatically getting pwned by mana spells, like everyone else. I always try to have a least a few counterspelling dice.

True. This is the first Shadowrun character I've ever actually used in a game, so green mistakes like this are bound to happen. If he survives long enough, I'll try and give him a few ranks of Counterspelling.

It takes an hour or so for JJ to get in contact with the Johnson, so your characters can do what they like for a little while. Vinnmun, make a test to heal stun damage, and maybe see if you can procure a first aid kit...

Sorry about the delay. Been sick as a dog most of the week after last week's aggressive round of chemotherapy. I think we're pretty good to go on my end for now though. Nothing really to add with a post, but she probably would try to "be there for" the wife to try and get her to slip any reason someone might be after her husband.  With regard to Menzo, well, despite that she was raised with all the Japanacorp prejudices, her suggestion would be for him to be released 'on recognizance' and on basically a probationary basis to assist with finding Fong. (She knows that she's lacking in the darker areas of contacts)

That'll work well. Make a short post to that effect, and ask Mrs. Fong whatever questions you want to ask her. Then very soon I hope we can get all the characters together. That chemo sounds rough, hope you're doing well.

I'll be out of town this weekend so I don't know how much I'll be able to post. Since we're at a point where it looks like everyone will be meeting up soon, you can play that out amongst yourselves if you like. Linda will probably tag along with Menzo wherever he goes. Any meeting between Frostmane and Grind/Kitten will be brokered by JJ, who probably doesn't want Frostmane to know she's a Triad.

Of course, you need not meet up right away, and if anybody wants to do some legwork beforehand that would be fine, but I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to get back to you.
