I found this build on the Dumpshock Forums and thought it would be an interesting concept to try and play for a game. I would like some help modifying it and making it better than what is presented currently in the build. Any and all input would be helpful.

Geneware
Reakt 0.4 [10, 24,000]
Synch 0.3 [8, 24,000]

Example Gun:
Ares Predator IV [4R, 350]
Melee Hardening [4, 300]
Personalized Grip [2, 100]
Av: 4R

I would like to possibly change the negative qualities and metatype as im not comfortable with the choices presented in the build. From what i gather this build is pretty much a cyber/bio/genewared mundane that can shoot in melee with little or no penalty.

It also looks like they are trying to use a very iffy interpretation of Two-Weapon Style to let them shoot while Full Defending. Not many GMs will let that fly.

The only really useful part of this build is the "Firefight + Krav Maga = shooting people in melee with no penalty" (and then with +2 for point-blank). But there's a bunch of problems aside from the aforementioned shaky rules: not very tough (big problem, because you want to shoot from melee a lot which means you will be getting shot a lot), a severe case of average-stats-itis, throwing points away by being human, being a mostly unaugmented mundane, and poor weapon choice.

My suggestion would be to make a better street samurai and bolt the Martial Arts on. I'd suggest taking a look at some of the characters in the first link of my signature (note none of them use Martial Arts because it isn't missions-legal). Do note that to use the Krav Maga/Firefight tactic, you want Dodge and you do not want a melee skill (unless your GM will let the full-defense-while-shooting shenanigans fly).
