With Teddy on foot, and the van now traveling down the street, Smiley’s contact Rhino sends a com message :: there is a warehouse off HWY 99 near Edmonds, I’ve dropped off an old mini-welder it might work. You owe me. :: the message also includes directions to this safe house. Traveling down the road takes several minutes, dodging pot holes. The gangs that control the area are silent having already dealt with one lethal convoy and not trying another attempt tonight.
The warehouse is a newer build structure a mix of concrete walls and a metal roof. Graffiti and gang tags all over the wall, as the van approaches a wide garage door slides open. Standing in the doorway is well… an upright rhino, or well it must be a troll. The kicker is he only has one horn on the side of his head, you guess someone called him “Rhino” to make fun of him. The troll is dressed in a mechanic’s jumpsuit and he waves his hand fast in the come on motion.
When the van and drones pull in the interior of the warehouse is empty except for two tables and mini welder. You get the idea this is a common warehouse used for a shadowrunner business. “Smiley, you daft man, what you doing in my part of town? And a new team! Got you that mini-welder, I’m gone don’t worry about locking up just leave. I’m watching the exterior I’ll clean up after you, but you owe me.”
Deckers, AI’s, Technomancers there are no hidden nodes, or cameras. Without teddy moving the case is hard but you lung it over to one of the tables and set it down. Hanks moves quick with his auto picker and a minute later the pad locks fall away and lifts the lid.
hahahhaha, going to make thvor sweat for a time while I figure out what to put in the box.
