>>>>>[Oh don't waste your time, I'll make it easy for all of you. I'm not the one telling the joke... I'm the one laughing at it! I smile and laugh at the ridicule of everything. The world, people, everything is a big joke and I'm having a pretty good laugh. That's why I'm called Smiley, a fitting name that, although I didn't choose it myself, I embraced all those years. I think that sums it up.

And you fellas... Why did you all chose those badass shadownames?]<<<<<

>>>>>[Well in my case it was kinda like Murphy's in that its a family tradition. Gramps had it as a handle/callsign when he was flying drones and hacking enemy terminals way back when he was in the Corps, and its passed forward ever since. Something about telling the story about having to take a Gar from his pet wolf, a gar being a type of trash fish down here, during a drunk out with his buddies that earned him the name. My father used it as a handle during his time in special forces, and now its mine.]<<<<<

May god grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can, and the firepower to make the difference.

Suicide is never the answer, now homicide on the other hand, that has posibilities.

>>>>>[I chose mine, back when I first signed up for the army. Callsigns allowed us to forget social rank while we were on the job. When I hit the streets after the revolution, I kept the name. Got a lot of flak for it, too, until I made an example of a couple trolls with the help of a water spirit. Possessed myself and cut the first one in half, then had the spirit possess the troll, and have him run buck naked into the middle of a Human Nation rally, and start a fight, before it left him. Didn't have any problems about the name after that.

Anyways, Wolf, that mystic adept I told ya about is heading your way. I made his own passage into the CAS as a test (he didn't know that I was keeping an eye on him), and he managed to line up a smuggler with a decent rep, and didn't get ripped off doing it. He should be in New Orleans in a couple days. I've given him your contact info.

Now that the kid is heading out, I can pay attention to the next job, running a simstarlet through some training for her next role. NDA says I can't say too much more, but suffice to say she can't just use wires for this stuff, so I'm going to put her through some intensive training. Also means I'll be out of Seattle for a few weeks, as she needs privacy, so I'm taking her to my mansion near Malek'Thas. Xerena may stop in for a bit, to give her some practice in group fighting. A few weeks of work, and I at least hope to get the starlet to the level of 'not terrible'. She's got some physical conditioning already, so that helps.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ I'd be delighted to oblige, Miri. It's just what I need to limber up again. But I won't go easy on her, just so you know. if her performance needs to be authentic, I think i can pull off a "crazy bitch" act when practicing with her. That should put a decent edge on the poor girl.

Some lovely stories behind the names. Oh! And I appreciate the offer, Wolfgar. You're such a dear.

Why am I up this time of day? Noisy neighbours. I honestly don't know how Ysoni can stand living in this specific spot of Tarislar...]<<<<<

>>>>>[Don't worry, Xerena. We're using wooden practice blades, and as long as you don't do any serious injury to her (especially her face) then it is covered in the terms of my contract with her people. Anything worse than a dislocated shoulder is out, though.

Had my first training session with her. Where these LA starlets get the idea that yoga is a martial art I don't know, but at least she's in shape. She asked why we were training with wooden blades instead of steel. I tossed her a real sword, and kept one of the wooden ones myself, and told her to attack me. After five minutes of her not being able to land a blow, and me giving her some nasty shots to several key joints, I stopped playing, and got inside her guard, stopping my blade less than an inch from her throat. She was glad to use wooden blades after that.

After we finished, we went on a jog across my property, in armor. After dinner, it is going to be laps in the pool. The actual fight choreography will be done by people on the set, my job is to build her stamina and get her a bit of training so it doesn't look like it is completely choreographed. And so she has the training to stop. People who don't know how to use a blade tend to follow through too much, and get thrown off balance. Looks stupid on a trid, and can be deadly in real life. So we'll see if we can't teach her a bit of restraint.]<<<<<
