>>>>>[Oh, there really isn't any secret to it, Predator. The image of a renegade Tir nobleman on the run after a revolution forced him from his home is such a romantic one, don't you think? It is the same reason why people want to make a reality show following the Ancients around. To humans, elves are glamorous. And most of the people in positions of power are human. So by playing that card, I can get into many circles. In addition, making a cover where you're a male escort/bodyguard to the elite and powerful means that while I can go out and enjoy myself as I please, I also have women paying me to have sex with them. Some just want some companionship on 'their level', or they want to try what a real nobleman is like, or whatever. And sometimes they want someone who can protect them at their most vulnerable. Women desire companionship just like men do. I offer a stress-free way for them to get it, and they know I won't embarrass them in front of their friends.

Most of my clients for that kind of work are humans and elves. A few dwarves, as well. But not many orks, and only a single troll, from that metavariant they have over in Tir na Nog. There are many reasons for that, but the main two are that humans and elves are better able to pay my rates, and I simply don't get that many requests from orks and trolls, who, from what I've seen, tend to stick to their own.

But really, as far as getting by in high society situations, I was born into it, Predator, and it takes more than a revolution to stop me from living that life. My ability to drop into lower class situations I credit to my time in the army.]<<<<<

O and is she single? if she needs to stay in the Tir i can make it to her I know how to run borders. I will send some of my best recordings so she can see me in action...could you tell me if she is interested?....O and last thing if you can't tell what a spirit is by looking at it then how do you do it?]<<<<<

>>>>>[Oh, no problem, Morg. I get that question quite a bit. There are several answers I could give you, but they basically boil down to the fact that I am a cold-blooded killer who follows Shark, and Shark doesn't like to swim idly. I would be terribly bored if I didn't go on runs.

The starlet is not single, no. And saying more would violate a confidentiality clause in my contract.

As for how to tell what kind of spirit you're dealing with, assensing can give you clues, but sufficiently powerful free spirits can hide their aura, or appear as something different. And spirits of different traditions will look different on the material and the astral. For instance, while my tradition is a possession tradition, when my spirits appear on the astral, they appear as metahuman swordsmen, with subtle clues as to what kind of spirit they are. But without detailed assensing, someone of another tradition would be hard-pressed to tell which kind of spirit it was, until it began using some of its abilities. A spirit who throws fire at you is usually (but not always) a spirit of Fire, for instance. I have seen Spirits of Man that looked like everything from Christy Daee to a wendigo to Dunkelzhan to a little anthropomorphic mouse in a Musketeer costume.

And one other thing. Never trust a spirit. They are useful allies, and when bound or summoned can be counted on to be loyal, but free and wild spirits always have their own agendas. We are passing, immaterial things to them, so you should never make a bargain with them without carefully considering the implications. Treat them with respect, but trust them as much as you would a dragon.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Me? A piece of work? It's true that I'm even more marvelous than Michelangelo's David. Hahaha!

Not single hm? That shouldn't stop a man for going after what he wants. Haha! And there's many reasons why someone rich would stay in the biz. My reason is as simple as I'm having too much fun. Others would say adrenaline and some would tell you that they don't know what else to do. Take your pick really.

But that's it for now, I gotta go! I'm at the Powerline and there is a few ladies who are demanding my full attention.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Hmm, Considering getting a bodyguard license for my legal face. Figure that or being a bouncer would be good work. Won't violate my zen either. Sure, I'll likely end up hurting someone, but likely only after they try to break a bottle or something stupid. I mean really, that drek don't work the way everyone wants it to. Either you miss, or the guy dodges, or you're REALLY drunk and aren't hitting nearly as hard as you think. And you can attribute that lesson to the tao of the barfight. I'm still bruised up from last weekend.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Card, I'd go with the bouncer role, at least until you've got more skill with guns. A bouncer only needs to be able to subdue the troublemakers, or beat them bloody and throw them outside. A bodyguard has to be able to cover his charge's escape if they are attacked, which you can't do effectively with martial arts alone. Even a light pistol can cause someone to duck behind cover long enough for you to get your charge out of the line of fire. And you won't be able to just speed off on your bike, so the normal tactic of getting out of the situation won't fly.

But your skills are perfect for a bouncer. When you find a gig, make friends with the bartender and a couple members of the local gang. The bartender knows most everything that goes on in the bar, who the regulars are, who's likely to cause trouble, and so on. And if the local gang likes you, then you can try and keep them from causing any trouble, making yourself more valuable to the owner.]<<<<<
