>>>>>[ Hey Smiley. Good to see you again. To answer your question...I think most of us retain some connection to the rest of society, if only through our assumed personas and faked SINs. I think the question is more, would we leave the shadows and return to the light? Personally, I wouldn't. Those of us who live and work in the shadows see a larger world than those who live their lives in the light. We also have greater freedom to act in ways that influence that larger world, in small or large ways. I remember what it was like to live in the light...how limited my view of the world was then. Those of you who grew up in the shadows have no idea how lucky you are. I would find it very hard, very limiting, to return to "regular" society. I may not have chosen this life, but having lived this life...I probably wouldn't go back, even if given the chance. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Money, you gots some 'splainin to do. Man, why go into a bleeding bug nest and not call me. You know i bring all the fun toys, and i would have still been out in time to help Marak and Morg on this little.....No, dont put the spare torpedo's there. Thats where the spare demo and ammo is going to go. Geez, my cousins are usually bad enough but put Morg and Marak with them and a whole new level is reached, geez. At least their meeting some nice girls and those cousins are keeping them out of as much trouble as the other ones are getting them into. Blast it Justan, you can't put the detonators under the captain's bunk, they might go off and then where would we be? Huh, dats right, at the bottom of de gulf, youse got it. I swear, I spend any more time with dis branch of my family,  not only will you guys not be able to understand a fraggin word i say, but i'll lose so much of my IQ, I'll turn into just another coonass like my ork and troll cousins.

As you can hear were loading out our transport so that we can go deal with Maraks little issue, and when that is done I'm gonna come up, find Murphy, and take the two of you back to Florida with me for some well deserved R and R. Memorial day is coming up and thats the official start of summer around here so all the hotties will be down at the beach in their bathing suits for both of you to watch while you recover. It will also be out of that tank Money, and on me.]<<<<<

May god grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can, and the firepower to make the difference.

Suicide is never the answer, now homicide on the other hand, that has posibilities.

>>>>>[I squash the bugs when they're in my way but I'm not stupid, nor suicidal enough to seek them out.

Well, today died two of my regular acquaintances. Michael Dubois, prime runner, great hacker and keyboard player of Thanks For Coming Out died of overdose this morning. Hahaha! The idiot was so high on so many things at the same time that they'll never be quite sure exactly what he took.It finally happened, it had to. He died with naked women in his bed and a stupid smile on his face. It's hilarious, the images KE took of the scene just came in and he look ridiculous. Hahaha! Good for him. The second is Inspector Joseph Sutta of KE's homicide unit. The little weasel has always been trying to bust me and I always found that distraction amusing. But, all good things comes to an end. With what I'm trying to help building, I can't have someone poking around like that anymore. So I snapped his neck and made him disappear. Oh I cleared it up with KE's upper crust first, don't want to upset one of my biggest clientele. Now, I'm at his home and about to have some fun with his lonely wife one last time, well while it's still fun. Hahaha!]<<<<<

If you lose your self to it you become less then a man you become and animal, I have seen the monster take good cops pushed to far on the force. Take some time to review how you use to be, if you find there is nothing left tell me and I will morn one more of the monsters victims.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ There is no such thing as good and evil. There is only perception of good and evil, based on your point of view, and your interest in a situation, and your own values. It's all very subjective. I've killed a lot of people over the years. I've destroyed whole families. So have most of you. That poor security guard you pumped full of lead. Was he an evil man who needed killing because he was evil? Or was he merely an inconvenience in your way to your own objective? Wasn't he just doing his job to feed his children? Who will look after their children now that they are gone? But if he shot and killed you...would that make him evil? Would he be right or wrong in shooting you? It all repends on your point of view. Therefore, the best you, or any person can do, is to develop your own sense of morality, your own code of conduct, and stick to it, no matter the cost. That is what keeps us from being monsters. It is not our actions that define our moral standing, our motives, combined with how well it fits our code. Accept it as a given that where such codes come into opposition, there is potential for death. You or your opponent. Neither is wrong. Neither is evil. That's just life. ]<<<<<

But, when you're on the job, you have to keep that down because if you don't harden yourself on the job, those corpsec guys will and they will kill you.
