>>>>>[Indeed. Alternatively, if you're a possession mage, you'd be amazed what happens when you place a spirit in a drone body. The spirit can't use the drone's sensors or weapons, really, but it can move the drone just fine, meaning that when an 'unarmed' surveillance drone possessed by a fire spirit suddenly starts unloading flaming death from above, it tends to make the gangers think twice about coming around. Or when I summon a Spirit of Man capable of using my spell to turn people into ice sculptures, and put it in a drone. You should have seen the look on those Spikes' faces when this little Fly-Spy drone comes speeding in under the influence of a Movement power, and starts turning gangers to ice in the middle of their fight with some Ancients near my safehouse. It helps if you have the drones prepared as vessels ahead of time, since complex objects like that tend to resist magic.
Another thing you might consider if you 'dual-class', to borrow a term from those games, would be to focus on some of the lesser-used areas. For instance, if you do most of your fighting with drones, then focusing on ritual magic can be very effective. Just don't sell yourself as a combat mage, and you'll be good.]<<<<<
