>>>>>[Well I don' cough in the matrix from the pollution in the air. And Sir Ouroboros... I am nothing of the sort, just... never been one that interacts lot with others. Usually prefer to keep in my corner and do what I do rather then meddle with others, it just brings complications that I prefer to avoid. But I do go out at times... down to a bar close by where some deckers hangs out... its aright if you like socializing... But never been one for going out. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Haha! All the whining about the world that went to drek! Personally, I find it fraggin' hilarious!

And for what's new with me, well I went for another trip in a prison cell. Lack of proof, good lawyer, friends in high places, you know, didn't stay there very long. But it did made me realize that I needed to shut that FBI agent down... Permanently.

I mean I tried everything. Finding dirt on him, what was his price, "friendly" warnings to back off my case... Everything! Nothing worked, a true crusader on a mission. Now, it's just a matter of time before my business partners wants him gone and my reputation his on the line! As I'm writing this, I have him tied up to a chair in a basement with his dead wife and daughter... And I'm going to kill him in a few minutes. Oh well...

It's ironic, in a way, that he is probably the man I respect the most on this plane of existence. I mean, I went to him downstairs with an offer most people like me would never bother. Just to confirm to myself what kind of man he is. I told him that, if he stopped meddling in my affairs, I would let him leave with his family. My word is gold, everyone knows that, even him. What he told me just confirmed my suspicions about him. He looked at me and said "I made you a promise the first time we met! I'll never stop trying to bring you down!'. Uncompromising and true to his mission, up until the end! You gotta respect that! Looked at his wife and his daughter, they were smiling at me, defiant and surprisingly supportive of his decision, understanding what it meant for all of them. With a simple "Fair enough!" I shot both his wife and his daughter in the head. Because, me too, am an uncompromising man. Anyone that poses a real threat to me and my business gets to en up dead... After I killed everyone close to them. A South American cartel wanted him dead as much as I do now, and since they owed me a big favor (well they still owe me plenty more), agreed to to claim responsibility for the hit. And so again, as I did many times before, I'll get away with murder.

Still, my own little story made me curious about yours people! How do you all deal with law enforcement taking interest in your affairs?

I'll check back later for your answers, for now, I have a small chapter in the story of my life that needs an appropriate ending!]<<<<<

>>>>>[At least the man was unflinching in his word. Not many people like that left in this world.

As to keeping law enforcement off of myself... lets just say the FBI knows I did stuff for the UCAS that kept it alive during one of its darkest moments. Never really had to deal with KE or LoneStar as I haven't been in NA for almost 5 years and I was a good boy before my trip to Europe.

Never had any European law enforcement meddle in my affairs while I've been here. I also prefer it that way and go to some lengths not to have them meddle in my affairs. If they do start to meddle in my affairs... lets say some explosive rounds will be entering some skulls from extreme distances.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Finally back in Seattle. Sorry for the downtime guys, The Tome has been out of my hands for a while now but I decided to lay low for a while after trading it over. I say trading, most of it went out to all the favours owed to get rid of it but The Foundation are happy and I personally got what I wanted.
At least for now you cannot collect a bounty on this ghoul, go find another.
Iceblade, The Foundation was dealing with getting your compensations to you, whatever those may have ended up being. They should have arrived, along with the "clean" copy of the Tome for your archives and research. Of course you get a big thanks from me.
Same for you Card, something should have been sent your way for helping with that plant spirit attack.
Ouroboros, we didn't send you a copy because we assumed that if you wanted it, you would have it all ready.

As for the Law, Smiley, i stay underground and in the real shadows so much to avoid the shoot on sight notices when alone, and when I am not there's a fast talker around to help me sit through that Johnson meet at the local Soykaf place or whatever else is going on that run. The one time i ended up face to face with them, including Docwagon, was in LA while looking for an Oni to kill. I lucked out and convinced them I was a victim in the torching of his favourite bar (My doing, natch). First free health care I had received in years.]<<<<<
