>>>>>[I can also be there in ten minutes if you still need help. But I gotta be at the Powerline by 9 PM, I promised a friend I'd help her doing a little special for the audience. If you guys wanted to see me in a very embarrassing situation, now's the chance! Damn, I'm going to regret this. Well I owe her a favor and I always pay up. Good thing I ain't afraid of the ridicule.]<<<<<

Mmm...Powerline, eh? It's not really my kind of place, but I'm sure Ysoni would love to go. He's pretty good with a camera too. Prepare to have your embarrassment shown to the whole world! ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Dunkie always was good about dealing with the Shadows and the SINless.  Treated everyone equal until they proved otherwise.  Hell, I remember having a few conversations and even a polite argument with him on ShadowLand back in the day.  You were always polite with The Big D, he had a few skills with the deck as well as being a fragging dragon.  Never cut a deal with him, of course, and he respected me for that for some reason.

You know, me and a lot of other people are still looking for who took him out.  And you better believe they better hope they're dead, otherwise it's going to be a long, long time until they do.  I'll pay for Leonization for the bastard to make it last longer out of pocket if I have to bankrupt myself to do it.]<<<<<

>>>>>[I was there at the time, celebrating Dunkie's victory (OK, I cut a deal with him by voting with all my SINs), and got myself an invitation through some, um, contacts.  I admit I had a few to drink.  OK, I had a lot to drink.  But he looked pretty still to me from what I could see through the tinting on the windows as I and a few dozen people were waving good-bye like idiots when it happened.  Which is exactly what makes me think that 'trid footage was forged, that limo was blacker than the ace of spades to show the kind of detail they're showing.  But I admit I'm no professional in this.

I did have experts go over the footage time and again for years, however.  Both legit and shadows.  They never showed anything like that before.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Hahaha! And it's comments like yours that makes the matrix so damn funny. I was gonna say trolls like you, but I knew I might offend some real Trolls. So relax, don't take shit so seriously!

You are aware that Big D was an active member of the old ShadowLand Network do you? Hestaby too, from time to time! And I'm pretty sure he wasn't using anyone to post in his place. Now if Big would have really been able to handle himself on the decking scene, I have no idea. We don't know if Money is good either. You'd also be surprised how many of them use the matrix extensively by themselves and on various skill levels. There may be only a few Great Dragons but don't forget there are dozens of Dragons of various ages awaken in this world. I wouldn't be surprised if I learned that one (or more) of them, other than Eliohann, is a kickass hacker. They may be old fashion and alien in culture but some of them seems to adapt pretty well. Hell, I'm sure they're all better than me! Hahaha!

On another matter, it was pretty fun at the Powerline tonight! Well, it still is! I gotta say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would, I mean there's nothing this girl did to me that I hadn't tried before. I just never thought I do it in front of a few dozen people. Well it was nice, we laughed a lot and now we're drinking... a lot. Any of you who makes it tonight, I'll pay your first drinks! And for the Toxic Shaman job in Snohomish, well I'll let either Madrecita or Ysoni tell you all about it.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Greaseball.
I'm well aware Dunkelzahn had a hacker Voice for him on ShadowLand; Hestaby did the same through her little otaku clutch.  Mujaji, Lofwyr -- how many do you want me to list in some sort of futile snarkwork?  While a few dragons -- even Great -- may have learned how to hack manually since the advent of high-speed AR, there's a reason they stay out of VR decking, and a reason the bequest from Dunkelzahn's will is still unclaimed.
I take my hacking seriously, and I take my contacts seriously.  Money Johnson's doing what a lot of Turks do, claiming something big and flash and getting tripped up by a detail.  Doing that brings into question ... everything.  People, information, everything else.
If you lie in the shadows, if you lie to the shadows, be damn sure you don't get caught.  Life lesson for the day, twerp. ]<<<<<

Personally, I don't know and I don't really give a shit about how dragons are using the matrix. I just know they do. And I'm also too drunk to want to talk about things that doesn't matter to me. If you're around Bellevue you should come here! Free booze and sexy (and willing) people, that should help you relax.]<<<<<

>>>>>[I have twenty years experience working the Shadows of Seattle, a reputation you can ask around about, and I'll freely admit I was pretty green as a decker in those days.  Or even today, really.  Enough to get by.  I just know the actual Deckers (As in the ones I hired for jobs) agreed that The Big D had some skills.  Check out ShadowSEA, some of the old logs survived Crash 2.0 so you can tell I'm not pushing Drek.  Or ask Bull, he was around at the same time.  I'm not saying he was an ice breaker, there's various ways to be good with a deck (Or commlink today), and I can't say what he was good at that impressed folks back then.

As for my "Turkish" attributes that I'm being accused of...  Well, I am a man of mystery, and have many pasts to check out if you care to.  Maybe I embellish a little, maybe I outright lie.  You realize that's part of my job, right?  Lying to the employer and employee so that there's a disconnection between the two so that deniability is kept?  Hidden truths and lies by exclusion?  Just realize that I am lied to as well, and must ferret out the truth of both employer and employee as well...  What is the job really about, can the person really do the job?  I'd be retired right now were it not for the, how shall we put it, thrill?  No.  Intrigue?  Not quite right.  Danger?  Hm, danger works well enough.

Taking your Contacts seriously, that's a good thing.  "You are your contacts" I've said since day one on this job.  Just don't live life so seriously that you miss out on what makes life worth living!  Go hit up Smiley and those sexy and willing people.  I've had my share recently before this big hit of business, and I'll celebrate when it's over again for another year.  The New Boar herds should be roaming close to Seattle by then.  And now, to Biz.]<<<<<
