>>>>>[ It showed pretty much what I expected. Cerebral edema as a result of too many blows to the head. He's got a hard skull, but that will only protect you from so much. Fortunately there's no hemorrhaging, or I'd have had to operate. As it is, I've had to magically oxygenate the blood supply to his brain. The swelling was bad enough to severely cut the blood flow. That's caused some autonomous functions to shut down. The doc there had him tanked as a result. Lucky bastard. It's a miracle he'll come out of it okay. Well...except for his hand. He took a sword through it. That'll need surgery to re-attach the ligaments and muscles.

Thanks for your help, Ice. Oh! And while I'm talking to you...that kid opted for life in the Tir. I'll need some back-up on the run, if you want to come along. The pay's very generous. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[Wyrm, if THAT is all it takes to set you off, you might want to look into some moodchips. Either that, or take that chip off your shoulder before someone uses it against you.

As for the rest, that's interesting. Glad to see it wasn't too easy. I'd have actually started to worry then.

Madre, no sweat. The docs at the hospital were glad the scanner came back undamaged, and the supplies will go a long way toward meeting the needs out there. And yeah, I'll go along on the run. I probably should, anyway, to make the handoff in the Tir. I called in a favor, so all we need is a jeep or an offroad capable vehicle, and we'll be able to get in without trouble from the border patrol. My contact will meet us in Cara'sir, and find the boy someone to take care of him while he's training. He'll have to do some time in the Peace Forces, but they'll train him, and he'll get a new SIN and everything.]<<<<<

According to their message board, I'm the progenitor of seven little booger eaters. The last post is a rant about how pissed that woman is that every time she finds a picture of me and post it, it gets erased within nanoseconds from their VPN AND their commlinks. Hahaha! >>>>>[ Actually, it was easy.  No data scrubber in the world can erase your memory, and no memory-scrubber can deal with deep memory.  Schwartzkopf took five minutes for the initial findings, and two hours for the genetic matching.
I keep files.  Everyone who was anyone in Tír Tairngire, Tír na nÓg, the Duchy of Pomorya, and the Zulu Nation is in my database.  Extensively, usually.
Getting those files, on the other hand, can mean quite a bit. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[No offense, Wyrm, but when you start saying 'easy' and naming dragons as part of what helped you do it, I call bulldrek. Yeah, dragons make everything easier. Short term. But you know what they say about making deals with dragons...

Smiley, you think that's great, back before the revolution, ladies were practically begging to have my kids. See, if the kid had been male, then he would have been given my social rank, which means that, even though the women would still be part of the Gentry, they could use the kid's title to do things like purchase land, get travel visas easier, and so on. I literally couldn't go to a club in Malek'thas or Cara'sir without getting mobbed with women. Fun times.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ It's somewhere I haven't been before.  Where I'm at, well -- you don't stay in one place for longer than a couple of weeks.  If you're smart -- or you have someone serious after your ass -- you don't stay in one sprawl for longer than two or three months.  I'd like to say I've lost count of how many times I've moved, but I haven't.  I just try not to say it out loud, as it were.
I think the longest I've ever stayed in one sprawl since, oh, 2040 or so would have been two years in Seattle.  Seattle's just really easy to get misplaced in; too little focus.  Everywhere else, there are either too many eyes, like in Denver, or they're all looking at you the same way. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Mmm...okay.

Ice, we can use my car. It got back from Susan Hands as Wings yesterday and I've been wanting  to test it in the field. This seems as good a time as any. Let me know when you're available. We have a three-day window when his father won't be in residence, so he can ease our way past security. I've scouted the place and he'd given me the details of what he cannot take care of on his own. It won't be easy, but if we do it right, it shouldn't take long. I've sent you the detais. ]<<<<<
