Hello all,

this is my first character in SR4, although I've played SR2 and 3 for quite some time.
I've been reading through this forum quite a lot to finish this char off, and I'd like to hear some input from the more experienced players.

Our group has already a rigger, a hacker (technomancers aren't allowed), a combat magician, an adept gunslinger and a ex-military urban samurai. Some players can't commit on appearing every session, thou.

My main idea with this character was to abuse from the social interaction skills, while being able to work some other aspects aswell.

The background is a Russian ex-spy who found a way to leave her old life and start a new one, in Amazonia (we're brazilians and decided to take a shot at playing in Brazil, where we know the maps better). She is new to the shadowrunner life, but is eager for some action .

Oh, btw, we did our characters using 850 Karma Points, instead of BP.

Did you remember that having 'ware means your essence drops and you lose points of magic (and therefor, Adept Powerpoints) because of it?
I could be mistaken (haven't calculated and don't know the PP and essence costs by head), but it seems you've got quite a lot of 'ware to still have that much magic left.

Not going to comment on Empathy soft... If your GM allows it, go for it, I guess.

I think you look mostly good. Minor points:

If you have MoM Agility, you don't use your real agility for anything and you can have a 1 with it never coming up. Even if it's only 10 karma there's really no reason to spend it on that.

You should probably own a gun that can deal with drones/vehicles, even if not very well. It's also not a bad idea to have a Custom Look 2 weapon for the cheap Intimidate bonus which you might want as a face. A Krime Stopper with Firing Selection Change FA, Custom Look 2, and Personalized Grip is a good choice for this; you can wave it around to scare people and if you do go up against drones, it has good base damage.

UmaroVI: thanks on the advice regarding the weapon. Will gladly take it.
I should put some Ex-Ex ammo to fire at those drones, and only that, right? I can't swap the ammo, so having non-lethal ammo would be useless (I'd use the teaser, instead).
Regarding the Agility, thou, Zephraim is right: I already am at my minimum.

If you spent the points to buy 6 magic, certainly.

Dryads certainly can be great faces, given their natural advantages, but I'm not sure they are as effective at infiltration.  You have all of these resources invested in being able to change your appearance - but you still have glamour, which can't be turned "off".  So even if you look like Evita the janitor, people will still be riveted by you unearthly grace.  Glamour is nice when you're trying to get the Johnson to pay a bit extra, but it isn't so nice whenever you're trying to be inconspicuous.

It only gives more flavour to the character, imho. You might be able to infiltrate yourself, but you will be seen and heard. Just choose the right types to impersonate and you are set :O
