New to SR, need a unique character 450BP

So I'm a SR newbie. I'm trying to make a character and I've got some ideas, but I don't know what to go with or how to build it.
My GM is allowing me to make my character with 450BP because I'm starting in the middle of a run and it will allow me to be on par with the rest of the group.
If you mention any specific skills, qualities, etc, please tell me what it does.

Do you have suggestions on a unique character? I've seen the trollbow and that looked interesting. I also like the idea of character that can throw just about anything as a lethal weapon.

Well, the better question would be, what kind of characters are in the group already?

Trollbow and Missle master-type characters are just different flavors of Street Sams (for the most part)

well far from being unique but a role that tends to be forgotten in most group (or at least the ones I've played in) is the face.

or my favored take on it the social adept/ spy type.

they can be great fun to play as they have almost unlimited hook option for you and GM to discuss.

on the flip side if your not careful you can ending up just going to get tea & coffee fro everyone as soon as any combat occurs.

Yeah, I asked him what the group already had. I don't really remember what he said, but we should have everything basically covered.
So I can just do whatever I want. That's why I'd like something kinda crazy and unique.

My original idea was an ork chemist that threw home made chemical grenades and stuff, but I don't know how his out of combat stuff would work.
Like would I have to wait until certain times and do a bunch of dice throws to see if my character successfully makes all these different chemicals?
