I'd say, no. Drone-only sensors may need to extend outside the body of the drone, and have no room to do so while the drone is in the eye cavity. Likewise, when the drone is in, its body may prevent sensors from functioning normally.
There's also the question of software and signal translation - the format in which the drone processes sensor signals is different from the one sent down the optic nerve.
So, buying the sensor options twice (once for drone, once for implant) is needed for the sensor to function in both configurations. This does not necessarily represent two sets of sensors, but the hardware and software mods it needs for dual functionality.
