Hey all. First time poster, long time player.
I enjoy Shadowrun 4, but there's bits that don't work for me all that well. So I've been playing around with some ideas for an alternate system, one that's a bit simplified for both my busy life and play-by-post. Right now my main focus is character creation.
I enjoy character creation, but it can be a bit...complicated. Not to mention the weirdness that happens sometimes--if I buy a luxury lifestyle, do I have to buy a car? Or extra video games and sims? Do I have to bean count every bullet--I mean, I shoot so many of them...

My first attempts at simplifying the character creation system. I could use some help from the professional players--take a look at it if you please, make sure everything seems to make sense, and if you could make a few characters if you get a chance I'd appreciate it.
