Just saw your matrix perception on the warehouse node. You got 4 hits, so you can ask me 4 questions about the node. The book gives a few examples of things that you can ask, but if you want to know something else, I'm sure we can work something out:

• Access ID of a user or independent agent • Alert status of node
• Edit date of a file
• Function of a control icon
• Hidden access to another node
• Matrix damage taken by icon
• Presence of a data bomb
• Programs run by persona or agent • Rating of one Matrix attribute
• Type (file, user, agent, program type, etc.) • Whether a file or node is encrypted
• Whether a Trace is running

There is no data bomb here. The node is encrypted, and has a Firewall rating of 4. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "master node". You've got a pretty good idea from working here that this is the node that the staff are using. It has a guest list, and people with valid tickets are checked against the list, and then given RFID bracelets.


Also, to clarify, launching a drone does not require a test.

@Aryeonos: I much more versed in the Magic Rules than Matrix so help me understand or clarify a few things. The action of readying the Exploit program, what is it for? So that you can use it next round? Would it take you an extra action if you didn't activate now?
You activated on your link a R6 Exploit program, I was under the impression that you can't have a program running higher than your 'link Response (You can have programs up to System Rating, R6 in your case, but they can only run at Response Rating, 5 in your case I believe), Am I not correct?

Cause after some research I realized I should probably have a stealth program which I don't.    Also can I find/ buy one on the matrix or possibly somehow in character say that I had one but It was messed up and have an excuse to ask freak for help in getting one without patches showing what a idiot his player is? I'd also be willing to trade one of the programs I bought at character creation (that I haven't used) for a stealth program of equal value. Sorry everybody

I'm fine with any of those options. If you have enough money to buy a decent Stealth program with your starting cash (doubtful) you can do that, or you can trade a program in. I see no reason to punish a player for a simple mistake like this.

You can't run a program higher than your system, which mine is 6, if you run more programs than your system you start getting response degradation, which will hurt you in matrix combat. I readied it in advance because the cryptanalysis takes a whole combat round, so I used my first IPs to ready some things, and unload a few others. (Which it doesn't say anywhere how many actions unloading a program takes.)

if you need a stealth program, you could subscribe to my link and I could load the program onto your link, it isn't really copied it's just running on yours until you reboot. I think it can be worked that way at least...

System limits indeed the rating of programs but Response limits how high the system can run therefore also limiting the Rating of the programs running.

So basically, Response is your hardware, and system is your operating system. It doesn't matter if you have a fast OS if your computer is still crap.

See that's the language I understand. So I wasted money on a system of 6 if my response is 5. As well as all the programs I have that are rating 6. Because everything is limited to 5 by my response. Its lowered even further depending on how many programs I'm running correct?

Also according to some math (guessing) I've done I'm looking at about 7-10 minutes till the blimp hits a 10-15 story height (about 100-150ft).
