I have been sitting on a campaign set for quite some time now, and think it is about time to see how this whole thing could play out.

I am looking for 3-5 runners, and tend to run a stealthy game but with the definite possibility of a good firefight. I don't shy away from magic users or even heavy weapons, but I will admit that I'm a bit behind the curve as far as deckers/technomancers go, and vehicle combat. That being said, I will still welcome your character submission and will do my best to fit a bit more of those elements into the campaign as I get it finalized.

As for the basics of the mission, I prefer a game that plays somewhere around the feel of Mission Impossible 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Matrix (lobby scene at least). Hopefully that will give you an idea of the feel of the game at least.

I suppose I should put in the nuts and bolts as well. So, I am looking for standard 4ed 400bp characters. I am a little new to 4ed (played mostly 3ed) so I may be a bit fuzzy on fine details in a few spots, but I hope we can work together to make this fun and maybe we can all learn a bit as we go.

Would there be room for an ex-actor / fake SIN maintainer?

(think of the routine stuff people do that gets logged while you go about life - now imagine someone who can fake your appearance down to the biometrics, and does that to not leave noticeable gaps when the current owner of a fake SIN isn't using it)

Character Concept: A private investigator that's a decent talker, good at disguises, tracking, shadowing, and damn fine with a pistol.

Certainly interested, but already in 3 games... each one moving very slowly though :(
But if you want, put me on a reserve list; PM me or something should it turn out you need an extra player to run the game, or want some guest-player for a temporary character or such :)

so i have a lot of free SR time on my hands as December has ended and the whole Stress has stayed with it :)

Novocrane - I'm not sure exactly how that character concept will work into this game, as it is going to be pretty heavy on the hands-on side, and it sounds like the character you're looking at would be more active outside the mission. In any case, work up a sheet and PM/post it so I can take a look, I could be entirely wrong on what you are going for.

Irisheathen- Sounds like a good concept, PM or Post the sheet and I'll see how it turns out.

Solodice- Concept is sound, and I think it would fit the feel of the game, get something thrown together and send it my way.

Ympulse- To be honest, this guy looks a bit more like a street samurai at first glance than an ex-cop/investigator. With that low of essence, definitely has a bit more ware than most. I will still keep in mind, and he just may fit though, so let me run his numbers and I'll keep you posted.

Obidancer- Not sure of the pace of the game just yet, hopefully will be pretty quick, but it's going to depend heavily on RL obligations on my end I'm sure. So please be patient with me if the need arises. What sort of character are you looking at? No concept from you yet, so let me know, and try to throw together even a quick sheet to see where you're leaning.

Xzylvador- Definitely keep you in mind, what kind of character are you looking for? Concept? Sheet? Let me know.

Kouryuu - Looks solid so far, make whatever changes you feel are necessary and PM or post 'em so I can run the numbers. Overall, looks like a good fit for the game.

MaxKojote - I'm not sure on how much info gathering and such will really play into this game, but I can probably work some into it pretty easily. Go ahead and put the character sheet together and let me take a look at it.

Abs1nth3 - I can see either rigger or hacker working into this one, I will probably not double stack roles if that makes any difference. Whichever you feel you'd have more fun playing, let me know and put em together so I can make a determination.

DaedalusK71- Can always use a good mage on the team, so go ahead and flesh him out. He's looking good so far.

For everyone -- Please get back to me with the above details, and I'll try to run everything down in the near future and make any changes that need making. Overall, looks like a lot of interest, so we will have to see where everyone falls, and I may open up a couple more spots from my original 3-5 estimate.

Oh and if we can, I'd like to standardize the sheets I'm looking at to get a better picture of where everyone is at, and I'm not forced to go searching for the information on each person's sheet. I'd suggest using FastJack's posted Character Sheet Code on the Play-by-Post index page. Seems to be laid out pretty well and will give us all a starting spot.

Oh, didn't really have anything yet. Chargen takes ages for me... not a process I tend to start unless I know it'll be useful. You seem to have plenty of candidates already, so I'll bow out and let you guys have fun! Thank you for the consideration. But should you miraculously short of players, PM me ;)

Sounds good - Honestly the guy was a Concept character that looked good enough to keep around - if you would like some things shifted around, let me know.
