My apologize, guys. I've had a long week and some, and more days to come with lot of projects to complete and a wedding date approaching way too fast. On the positive note I just got myself a Galaxy Note 10.1, so I may actually have a chance to do more posting while on the go. Bare with me.

So if we go with the delivery truck like a GMC Bulldog what kind of mods would you guys need on it? I know Winters would like to have a hidden compartment in the dash by the driver for a small pistol in case things get nasty (Winters can be driving if needed as well). What others mods would make sense? I'm thinking we might run into physical security that might check the truck inside and out.

Can't think of any mods, but I'll likely be going more remotely after the first recon. If I remember the matrix rules correctly, I can create a backdoor (hidden account) that I can later use to access by breaking in via one of your commlinks. The three  of you are more skilled at on-site operations (combat skills, infiltration skills, charisma skills...) than my character is so it would be the best to have you guys using the truck.

I'll need to double-check, but can I theoretically just hack in via one of your commlinks in the first place to create the backdoor, using the MSR of you? Or would my bionode need to be close enough?

I think we should pick a much cheaper vehicle or find an alternate method of procuring one, like kidnapping a delivery guy. The problem with that is that we are just in the recon stage. We can't do anything that will raise any red flags for when we try to actually achieve our objectives. Maybe we can steal ourselves some new jobs. Know what I'm saying? Go to work for the delivery company for a day or two. I'm willing to have Devil do it if Fang can get him the job. Maybe a transfer as cover story. Then we just need to make sure that he gets the task of making our delivery to the hospital.

I like the transfer idea to get a devilery vehicle. I'm sure the rest of our PCs can help you from the outside. Winters can get his contacts to place you on the delivery route or at least try, Fang could always hack into the Hermes' matrix system and give you the route that way, or we could send in Shira as a fake higher up and get you the route that way... ideas, ideas.

Yeah that sounds good. With the proper credentials it could work. I'd like to see about getting a uniform or two for the delivery company too before they actually do this. Do you think we need any special IDs or anything like that? Could find out or just play it by ear.

So let's see where we are at.

Recon Job Requirements:
An order from the hospital
A vehicle from the delivery company (or a modified vehicle of the same make)
At least one delivery uniform (more is better)
Falsified company records
IDs is a possibility

A couple of these steps need to be timed right too.

An important issue that comes to mind that warrants us talking about. Once we show up at the hospital, how do we want to proceed? (keeping in mind we need details about the building, but not to come off as intruding)

That may partially rely again on our contact. Beyond that, we (you) could try flattery. Heck, Shira could try talking casually with an employee while you "deliver". Daddy's little assassin probably has ways to get people to let things slip without thinking.

Observation would be a key as well. Possible node locations, presence of wi-fi negation and so on. We already know the place is closed-circuit, but not much beyond that. Matrix knowledge will be needed to collect and destroy soft data.

On the topic of recon requirements: That seems to be most of what we'll need. Get a job at the company registered on one of your fake IDs might be wise.

That's a pretty hefty expense. I hope there's a way to keep the SIN from getting burned after all of this, because otherwise that will cost me thousands. Maybe Fang can create a company profile for use under our fake sins, but then erase them at the end of the job.

Okay, so I think the best way to proceed is to divide up the various tasks for this phase. Fang is going to have a fair amount to do that he is really the only one capable of doing well.

Uniforms... Winters could call the contact that said he could get a delivery van. Maybe he has a lead on some uniforms too. Devil could also ask his contact as well. The other option I can think of is to try to buy them from a store, the matrix, or steal them somehow.

I'm sure Winters contact can grab some delivery uniforms from Hermes... stuff gets lost all the time....

Fake company profile could be best. If need be, and with difficulty, Fang could try to edit the Hermes employee database temporarily for the purposes of the run to include Devil as an employee. Then later remove Devil's SIN from it once it is done. However that could be risky as it may leave a trace.

So tasks so far for the recon:

Fang:
- Initially break in via Matrix to the hospital's network and generate a fake inventory shortage. Also create a backdoor via a hidden account for the mission.
- Create fake profile tied to Devil's fake SIN if possible
- Possibly find a matrix method of getting Devil on the delivery route

Devil:
- Acquire a uniform. Winters could do this too.
- Learn a bit about Hermes' procedures just in case he needs to do anything in regards to it.

Winters:
- Acquire a uniform. Devil could do this too.
- Acquire a van.

Shira:
- Ensure Devil gets the delivery route?

Gotta admit that I am pretty excited at where you guys are going with this. It's always fun as a GM to see what the players will come up with for ways of getting things done. Kinda the reason I designed this game the way I did, leaves a lot open to see where you guys go with it, and there are plenty of ways to get the job done, all of them equally viable.
