Winters decides to take a seat, standing would probably be a rude gesture to the Johnson, close to Shira but not right next to her. Winters then raised his hands in front of himself and started to undue his driver gloves while he looked at the Johnson. He said nothing as he undid his gloves, others were already talking for him, and tucked them into his coat pockets. He then cupped his hands together and rested them on the table.

He then glanced over at the two guards behind the Johnson. Winters starts to scan the two for any weapons but really appears to be interested in the wall behind them instead.

Winters is trying to check out the guards and notice if they have any weapons on their bodies. What perception modifiers are present?
Both guards are human, larger than most, and appear to be the standard run of the mill "meat wall with fists" type. Both are well dressed in fashionable suits, as is Mr. Johnson, but the telltale signs of hidden weapons bulge under their suit jackets, undone for easy access. No cyberware is immediately noticeable at the present.
"Thank you all for joining me," Mr. Johnson leans forward, resting his elbows on the large table, and steepling his fingers before him, "Please excuse the irregularity of this meeting, I tend to the cautious side, and having an intermediary makes things run much smoother I've found. Our friend, Mr. Collider here," he motions to the man in the white coat, "has proven to be invaluable in these types of situations. You see, while we are here, you are welcome to ask anything you wish of me, and I will do my best to answer as honestly as I can. Once this meeting has concluded, you will not hear from or see me again. Anything you need or any further inquiries can be sent through Collider, and he will get in touch with me through predetermined channels. Best to have a single point of contact you see."

"Now down to business," Mr. Johnson reaches into his jacket pocket and removes a small remote, and with the press of a button, the wall behind him becomes transparent. Beyond is a picturesque view of Puget Sound, and directly across the water rises the Seattle skyline. Buildings are outlined in a light yellow to highlight them through the rain, and with another button press, one in particular is highlighted in red crosshatching. "This is the Humana Hospital," Mr. Johnson begins, "it is a research hospital, not the general care kind that most are familiar with. Here, multiple corporations research the newest medical technologies, and one in particular has caught my employer's attention. We have had a man inside the hospital for some time now, and he has gotten word to us that Shiawase Corporation has nearly finalized a vaccine for the HMHV Virus. We cannot let them finish if my employers have any hopes of staying in competition in this field. Which brings us to you. We cannot get directly involved, so we turn to you. Your task is to infiltrate the Humana Hospital, however you see fit, retrieve samples of the new vaccine, copy the research from the research computers, and destroy what is left of both. Dr. Nelson, our inside man may be able to assist you once you are inside." He finally concludes, "I now open the floor to you, for any question or discussion you may have. Either myself or Collider should be able to assist in at least starting you off on planning."

Two meat heads, packing heat, 6 against 4... it would be quick and dirty but nothing to worry about, for now.

Winters cleared his throat, "Any idea on security inside the Humana Hospital, Mr.Johnson? I'm Winters by the way."

Winters didn't want to talk about nuyen just yet... it was a good idea to get a sense of the run so a higher price could be settled upon, if possible, later.

Ahnak takes an open seat as the Johnson speaks, adjusting his weapon to a comfortable position with little success. he listens intently to Shady J, then nods in agreement with Winters, "Not just personnel, how hardened is the facility itself and what cover-damage are you expecting us to inflict? I'd hate to blow up a room full of cancer-stricken kids."

"Security is as it would be expected of a research facility. Cameras, checkpoint at the gate, roving guards inside and out, a couple drones on the more secure floors, that sort of thing. I wouldn't expect there to be too much trouble unless you really trip an alarm. If you do, don't be surprised to have all of Knight Errant raining down on your heads. So at least try to be quiet about it is what I'm saying," Mr. Johnson tried his best to answer Winters' question before turning to the dwarven magic user. "The outer shell of the building is reinforced and almost nothing short of a mortar round would do much. Once inside, there are individual rooms that are hardened, but the majority of the floors house labs, which tend to be more open with pillars for stability. As for blowing up any patients, there shouldn't be any, as this is strictly a research building."

Fang was silent as he considering the situation of the task. A vaccine, eh? We'll see.... He mentally noted the security Mr Johnson mentioned. Evidently they were going to have to play under the radar rather than cause an obvious distraction. Not that it would be easy with the mentioned hardening, and it could be rather dangerous if they caused a chemical leak.

"Herr Johnson, what would be the best way to track down and/or contact Dr. Nelson?" He would do some research on the hospital later when the meeting was done, perhaps compile and register a sprite in preparation for the task. He took in Collider's scent to recognise the fixer later if it would be needed. Not everyone always wears the same face. Blinking, he did a quick and lazy check of the wireless nodes in the area from the comfort of AR as he continued to listen to Mr Johnson. he figured Mr Johnson might show a picture of this Doctor if need be, otherwise it probably wouldn't be too hard to find it on their own.

"Dr. Nelson lives in the researchers' dormitory located here," another building on the wall display is highlighted, "on the second floor. Room 212. I will have Collider transmit his information to your respective commlinks."

Quite a few open nodes are around the area, just about every building was at one point set up for one, most likely used for service drones loading and unloading cargo onto the ferries. Today, they have almost all gone dormant and passive. The only active node currently is in your building.

I'm sure the detailed questions will be answered in due time, what I'd like and I am sure I can say what we'd like, is to know the time frame we have to execute the run. Our approach will be different whether we have two days or two weeks. And so will the nuyens required.

She was the first to mention the nuyens but knew it was on everyone's mind. She could understand Winters ' question, to gauge the danger of the run, but the others where for details that could be figured out once the deal was set.

"The vaccine is scheduled to be released in 10 days. You have until then to carry out your mission. As for pay, I am prepared to offer 15,000 nuyen each, or up to 20,000 in gear, restricted only by what time we have.

In game terms that means that he will get any gear you desire so long as it does not require longer to get than the amount of time you have, which is also dependent on when the runners decide to go on the actual mission, but obviously nothing more than 9 days availability. Also, this does not include cyber or bioware as surgery would remove you from the mission due to recovery time (and I personally wouldn't trust a corp johnson to get 'ware that isn't going to track you or kill you in the long run anyway

The idea of stealing a vaccine that might help people didn't sit well with Devil, and he shifted uncomfortably at hearing this information. However, he had no intention of turning down a payout like that. Maybe he would steal the drug back again, he mused, a faint smirk creeping it's way onto his lips, if only briefly. He listened to the security information intently, but seemed almost disappointed. Only an amatuer would go in without more detailed information. Truthfully, he didn't understand why they hadn't hired him to run the job solo, unless they actually wanted there to be blood. Why else would they hire so many sammies and gun-jocks? Maybe they wanted things to get messy. The thought made him feel a little sorry for the others, but it passed. After all, they knew what they were getting into. They were running the shadows, which is often thought of as a rather short and brutal career path.

"I'll bring you a bill for the equipment I will require, Mr. Collider. I'll also be needing all of your information... and records on the facility's personnel."

After a short pause, he continued. "I take it that you wont have any concerns, so long as we deliver the package and eliminate the remaining substances and data? Since, after all... when you release this product, these researchers will know that 'your corp' is responsible for the fiasco. You merely need to have them to be in the position of having little or no evidence to prove that they ever designed such a product, correct?"

"Mr. Collider will be compensating us at the hand-off, yes?"

His eyes gleamed wickedly, and he offered a friendly, yet devious smile. If they didn't pay him, then he wanted to know who to track down. Always a time saver to not have to seek revenge on everyone involved. When it was avoidable, that is.

He scanned the room quickly, once again, mostly taking the expressions of his temporary team into account. Many of those who seemed a little on edge before seemed to have let their guard down somewhat at the mention of the Nuyen that would 'solve all of their problems'. Typical, but times were tough for their like. Personally, he rarely worried about money, since he knew first hand that he would be fine without any, but it did open doors that would otherwise remain closed to him. Metaphorically, anyway. Love, prestige, respect, dignity; Nuyen measured a person's worth in this kingdom of hell that was Seattle Metroplex. It was all a horrifying game, and Devil, he knew how to play, and he knew how to cheat.

"A list of needed supplies will be all that is necessary," replied Collider, "The items will be delivered to you shortly. As for my information, you will find it on your commlink shortly, you shouldn't require anything more than a quick way to contact me, but I will also include a drop location if needed. As for Humana personnel records, we don't have detailed information about all of them, but a roster is available on the matrix, at least those people that the facility will admit to working there."

Mr. Johnson jumped in at the mention of 'his corp', "Well now, Mr. Devil, the research for this vaccine has been ongoing in almost every corporation around the world with any stake in biotechnology. It just appears that Shiawase may have a leg up at the moment. If they cannot prove that it was their breakthrough, then it's up for grabs. The blame would be split between every corp that has ever made a promise of providing a vaccine, so we're still well enough in the clear."

Winters caught the smirk that Devil repressed quickly. He ignored it but couldn't help to think what he was thinking about but it would probably wouldn't do him any good. Winters returned his attention to the Johnson after he was done talking about the vaccine and corps to Devil.

"You don't happen to have the blueprints to the hospital on hand? Or do we need to do some digging for it ourselves?" Winters said leaning back into his chair giving the false sense of being relaxed.

If the Johnson had the blueprints it would all be for the better as it would save himself and the others some time not trying to dig through the matrix or, God forbid, a paper copy. Also the prints would give Winters an idea on what to bring and he didn't really plan in bringing much but that could change after getting a look at the building itself.

Devil was beginning to think that perhaps Winters wasn't as common as he originally thought. He vaguely remembered hearing something about a runner by that name, and pulled up the man's available data on his AR visual overlay. Blueprints and schematics would prove invaluable to the thief, should they become accessible. He was used to usually going it without them, but there was no sense in making the payout harder than it needed to be. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to work with these people after all.

His lips parted as if he were going to speak, but he stopped, visibly smiling at the thought of someone doing his shopping for him. How kind. Maybe everyone wasn't out to get him after all, but, never-the-less, he would be checking each piece of equipment for defects and sabotage.

"I follow.", he responded to Mr. Johnson, deciding not to push things where they did not concern him directly. "Seems pretty cut and dry. I'm in, so long as I can walk away with five in gear and 'twenty' in cert'ed cred. I think that's pretty fair, considering how much you are going to make on this package. Think of it as an investment." His arms uncrossed and Devil slid his hands casually into his pockets, apparently no longer feeling the need to be able to draw a weapon at moment's notice. In his mind, a plan was already forming. Perhaps he would keep a sample of the vaccine for insurance. If he got burned then it would become open source medicine and nobody would get what they want, with the exception of the sickly.

"I'm curious: Why so many of us? Why us specifically?" He had a few ideas as far as what answer he would get, but sometimes it was better to say less, and to listen carefully to a person's resulting reaction. He strolled over and took a seat at the table, attempting to appear relaxed and to give an impression of being included.

@Devil

You find these when you look into Winters:

There seems to be a royal crest of some sorts with the a shield that has the images of a hawk and centaur on it. Behind the shield is two crossed daggers. Below the crest is a little banner with the saying: Il tutto vedendo occhi. Selecting it will present you will cause the royal crest to morph into a eye that just stares at you. About 15 to 20 seconds you notice that something has been written on the eye: If you can see me, I can see you, now state your business. The eye then morphs into a message box.

There's also seems to be an old newspaper called the Renton Gazette folded up. Selecting it will unravel it and show a story about a triple homicide solved in Renton by a private investigator, your's truly. There's another page and it shows off Winters hauling two men out of a building, the Bobesto scandal exposed by a PI is the title. There' one more page after that and shows Winters sitting on a park bench with a Ork in handcuffs sitting next to him, Drekal O'Kene finally beat at his own game.

There appears to be nothing else on Winters that you can find openly right now.

Shira was an expert at negotiation, and at fitting into any situation. And she knew all too well that too many people trying to bargain would not help the deal. Sure she could probably get whatever the team members would want or settle for, but now wasn't the time for that. The team would only succeed once they'll learn to act as a team, her included. Most of her 'missions' ordered by her dad, whether escort for a 'friend' or assassination of a rival, were done solo, relying only on her skills and wits. But maybe now for the first time, she could belong to something bigger, a team... a family?

They would have to rely on each other skills and roles, but now everyone was in their own world already trying to put together the best way -their way- to complete the run. Interesting.
She looked at her new comrades. Devil was already trying negotiate. She was pretty happy with his conditions, but she was already pretty happy with the offer, and would have been pretty happy to get more. Too many people kill the deal. She bit her tongue and stayed quiet, for the sake of the team. Money wasn't her priority at this time; building a group, however, ... and completing the run, to prove she was the best, to prove they were the best.

She had learned and developed the ability to read people like opened book. As she was gauging her companions, she realized that that same ability would allow her to keep cohesion in the group.
She captured the scent of everyone with her enhanced pheromone receptors, only to realize that she had even more in common with the Changeling Fang.
But it's on Devil that her stare stopped. So he wanted to negotiate. She could see a lot of cockiness in the man, and a sly mind, but that sort of confidence usually came with proven skills.
