Missed by one hit. Still that's a pretty difficult perception test for most characters. Will Devil still get to run when he notices everyone else running? Lol.
11d6.hits(5)=3

Still distracted by multiple things going on, such as getting foiled in his negotiation attempts, Devil failed to notice the sounds right away.

As Collider cocked his ear to the side, he smiled only slightly, a knowing smile at the sound he heard, and a few of the gathered runners did as well. It was the sound of the Johnson's car leaving, but there was something more there, a second engine, larger, throatier. As Shira heard the second, she sprinted to the door of the warehouse building and made it just in time to see the last of a team of heavily armed and armored men climbing aboard a heavy assault vehicle. The swat armored citymaster began to close its rear hatch as the last man on the team turned back and winked at Shira. From what she could see, he was wearing solid swat armor and carried a long rifle with a large scope. Immediately, she returned to the rest of the runners to report what she saw.

Winters chuckled to himself a little at what Shira told them, "I guess the Johnson likes to come prepared. Plus it would be nice if I could get a SWAT armor kit from him... those things aren't cheap."

Winters then turned his gaze to the ceiling. A fucking tactical team for a meeting... this Johnson was either really paranoid or he was expecting a different meeting with us. Winters then brought his gaze down to Fang.

"Hey... Fang, you wouldn't mind digging up those blueprints of the hospital would ya?" Winters said in a quiet tone to the changeling.

Well I'm glad neither of you caused trouble during the meeting. Said Shira as she came back into the room and described what she saw outside.
Are you guys planning on staying here for the night? If a SWAT could sneak around us, I don't give much trust in this place, no offense Collider. Powerful men have powerful enemies and I'd rather we start our planning in a more familiar place. What do you say? She looked at each one of her new teammates as well as Collider.

The changeling put aside his research in the Matrix as Shira returned. "I would prefer that we plan in a different and more secure location." Fang spoke quietly. He was mildly surprised that there was a SWAT team working with Herr Johnson for the meeting, perhaps he expected hostility? Or perhaps he was keeping it in case the team had an issue involving arrogance and ego? Collider didn't seem too surprised by it, almost amused. Well if there was a lesson, it's not to mess with their employer.

At Winters' question, Fang smirked slightly, his namesake fangs showing as he did so, giving him a slightly feral appearance. "I can do that. Probably not here though, might take me a little bit and I'd rather be in a more secure location first." Going into VR would be best and he'd rather not do that out here; even AR would be a bit of a risk, and slower. Plus if his skills failed he'd probably have to request the help of a sprite, and that could be tiring.

"Herr Collider... Would you happen to have any other information or objectives for us?" His tone was respectful as he spoke to the fixer. In truth he was somewhat skittish after realising that a SWAT team had blindsided them; he wanted to preferably move to a safer location soon before a more decidedly unpleasant group surprised them.

"No, I've told you all I can for now, I will gladly accompany you to wherever you would like to continue this meeting if you'll have me, or I can simply leave you to your devices and you can contact me whenever you please. You should all already have my contact information on your commlinks now." Collider did seem a bit amused at the revelation of the SWAT team.

As soon as Devil caught on to the enforcement presence he disappeared; literally. Throwing up his hood, he dropped into chameleon mode and faded from view. He then simply waited in the shadows of a corner for the meeting to resolve and for collider to leave, finding the whole event a little too constricting. They knew how to contact him, and they knew his face. What else did they know? The thief didn't much care for being used as a pawn. Pawns were expendable... up until the point were they became something more threatening to a player.

"That will be all, mr. Collider.", came the voice from nowhere. He then watched closely as the fixer took his leave.

Shira was quick to realize one of them went missing, but her enhanced pheromones receptors quickly picked up the scent of her new companion.  Ruthenium Polymer coating. Would catch and reflect ambient light to make it hard to see. It seemed it was working quite well, particularly in this dim environment, but she'd rather have a mage cast an invisibility spell, really.
Devil, I hope you don't plan on disappearing at every sign of trouble coming our way, right?
It's late already, why don't we meet at my apartment, say 6:30am, and start our plan of action. You guys will have time for a quick rest and please a fresh shower, she added as her stare passed by Mick. She broadcast her address and waited for the others to acknowledge.

Winters grumbled to himself as he noticed Devil disappear and was about to say something but Shira took them right out of his mouth. He then started to look for Devil with his keen eyes but when he spoke it wasn't hard for Winters to pinpoint his location. Winters gave a glare towards Devil in his invisible state a short of "I know where you are".

Winters looked towards Shira when she said everyone should go home and gets some rest and meet back again in the morning at Shira's place, "Sounds like a plan and I'll bring some breakfast." Winters knew that they could eat from Shira's stuff but Winters knew a awesome breakfast joint a couple blocks from his place. It would be polite as he didn't know if Shira would like them to be rummaging through her food stuffs.

Winters then placed Shira's address in his contacts and was starting out the door when he turned around giggling his keys in his pocket, "Anyone need a ride? Public is kind of sketchy at this time of day."

Fang looked at Devil's location with some amusement. While he couldn't see the thief, his ears and nose told him what his eyes could not. He, barely, resisted the urge to be childish and do the exact same thing with his chameleon suit. He couldn't really criticise Devil for being paranoid, but he hoped that going invisible wouldn't lead to fleeing at trouble.

As Shira broadcast her address, Fang noted it down into his datachip and nodded in acknowledgement at her, looking away from Devil's location as he did so. "Sounds good. I'll see if I can grab those blueprints before we meet up then." As Winters offered a ride, the changeling looked at him gratefully, standing as well. "I'll take you up on that. Will make my life easier."

Let's see... I can grab the blueprints before I go to bed, but getting the sprites to stick around will take a fair bit longer. Perhaps after I arrive at Shira's place or something. He joined Winters at the doorway, looking more relaxed with Collider and the Johnson gone.

"Why? Would you miss me?", Devil responded without missing a beat, clearly find himself entertaining.

"I might not always stay with the pack, but I wont leave you to the hunters. I don't run like that."

"You have your methods, I have mine. That's why I'm here."

Devil received the information to his commlink, just he heard Collider's vehicle start. It crossed his mind that perhaps they should meet a couple of hours later in the morning, but he kept the thought to himself, deciding that it would make him seem even more questionable to the group to voice it. Having your own way of doing things was one thing, but not being a team player was another altogether.

A few seconds later he reappeared with the usual special effects, though now he was much closer to the others, with a large shotgun pistol resting in his crossed arms. Fluidly holstering the beast, he slipped through the door, and began stalking off into the drenched shipping yard.

"Sure, I know that building. Nice digs. ....I'll see you all bright and early.", he called out, over the sound of the rain. With his back turned, he absently raised a hand in the air, as if to say goodbye. At least he was 'trying' to seem friendly now, in his own distrustful, distant way.

Before Winters could wave to Fang to get going Devil appeared next to him with his shotgun in hand. Winters had no immediate reaction but a blank cold stare at Devil... it would of been met with a nice pistol whip to the back of the head but Winters thought that was a little rude in this group setting.

"Ci vediamo dopo, stronzo." Winters said to Devil when he walked out into the rain.

Winters then looked over to Fang and waved for him to join him outside, "Lets go Fang. I suspect I have a long drive."

Fang shook his head, smirking slightly at Devil's reappearance; though he did eye the gun  with some surprise before it was holstered. "Auf wiedersehen." He called out to Devil as the thief walked off in the rain.

At Winters' gesture, he followed the blonde outside, waving a farewell to Shira as he did. As he joined Winters outside, he told the man where the changeling would need to be dropped off. "Hopefully shouldn't be too out of the way for you."

"Not that far for me," Winters said as walked towards the Mercury Comet parked in a ally across the docks. Winters didn't say much the rest of the way to his car.

He unlocked the drivers door and hopped in unlocking the passenger door from the inside, "A little old school I know but it throwers the gangers for a loop sometimes and people like yourself, hackers."

Winters then grabbed some papers sitting in the passenger seat and stuffed them into the glove box. He then started up the car and switched on the lights and put it into gear. Winters didn't talk all that much on the way to Fangs place and instead tuned into his radio and his custom soundtrack. He dropped Fang off at his place and when Fang was inside Winters logged Fangs address into his commlink, for safe keeping.

Winters then returned to his place in Renton and found his mother sound a sleep in her room. Winters set his alarm for 4:30 and stripped down and plunked his Thunderbolt down on his nightstand. He then turned in for the night.

The remainder of the night passes uneventfully, and the coming morning promises to be another bleak day of slate gray skies and overflowing gutters. It almost seems like the city is being washed clean, as the refuse piled along the streets is swept away. However, it brings back the creepy crawlies that try to hide in the sewers most times. Reports of devil rats have been circulating, but nothing concrete just yet. As you wake, you are greeted by a message on your commlink from Collider.

[[Thank you for meeting with me last night, I look forward to working with all of you. If you are planning on having certain items acquired, simply respond here, and they will be delivered promptly. -Collider]]

Now it is time to get ready, get ideas, and head to Shira's apartment.
