Tech dreams of organic toys
And I'm runnin' out on the edge
Soft screams of the rockerboys
Echoing through my head

I actually got into an argument over this. He finally got tired and said "you can't design one in real life so you can;t design one in the game." Then i broke out my old CAD/CAM final (a functional (according to the simulations)semi-automatic rifle.) and showed it to him. I love showing up the GM ;D. His response?"Buy a nano forge, then we'll talk."

Come on, you can't just say what you have designed a semi-automatic rifle and not share some pics.

Good looking gun DamienHollow just one question, what is the deal with the thing sticking out of the back of the handle?
It looks really uncomfortable.

That's actually the safety. When you grab the grip it lays flat and arms the weapon. The moment you hand comes off it a spring throws it back into the on position and locks the trigger directly. You can find something similar (although a little more complicated) on the M1911 handgun and UZI, they just aren't as large because they operate slightly differently (by locking up the firing pin or bolt.) Because the weapon is a bullpup, the action is in the wrong place to use that system, so i just made it engage the trigger and worked in enough space so that even if your grip isn't perfect, as long as it's 2/3 of the way depressed, it will still disengage.
