Looking for info on ACHE. How bad is it inside? What kind of security keeps people in/out of the non-shopping floors?

I want to do a run where my players extract someone from inside. I was sort of imagining lawlessness and filth inside, sort of a massive indoor barrens in the middle of downtown. Maybe giving them multiple points of ingress, including one through the underground, another sneaking in from the public area, etc.

But yeah,  any general information on what the giant housing project is like on the inside?

You'd better watch the Movie Dredd 3D

with a Dance in 3D

Been meaning to catch it. Just watched the trailer, and am slightly familiar with the universe.

So it's a giant, lawless hellhole, and the extraction target is probably paying protection to a gang  of desperate scum, who will kill him before letting him go with the 'runners because they need to keep up their appearance of absolute power in the small area of apartment bloc that they control? But maybe they will barter a deal for some rare goods from the outside?

Because that's sorta what I was going for.

The best written info you'll get is in Seattle 2072. It's got a short write-up, a fluff piece and then a piece about how it's pretty much ready to boil over in the "future of Seattle" bit. Could definitely do with more fleshing out, but as it stands, there's plenty of room for GM fiat. It'd be a great setting for a run, especially if you have a Technomancer in the party :)

Yeah, if the ACHE is ever fleshed out, it might be the first known instance of the Resonance equivalent to a background count.

There was a floor-by-floor breakdown of the SCIRE in RA:S. It would have to be updated, but should still generally be useful as far as what those floors were like before they became the ACHE.

Also, now that the OU is legal there's probably an increase in migration between the Underground and ACHE.
