Cop breaks the blue line and reports a fellow officer for brutality on the job, gets fired, then goes out and starts killing corrupt cops and their families.

Sounds like a good Shadowrun plot.

Sounds like any time a cop breaks the blue line.  It could be any genre.

As much as I hate to think about some nutcase cop going on a revenge spree, I really hate to think about the implications if he was right about the LAPD.
