== Description ==
While Hailyn is as tall as most female orks she seems to be underweight compared to most others. She has light red hair, blue eyes and pale skin from staying inside to pour over her studies unless on a job. She tend sto be social enough unless forced to converse with humans at which point her disposition becomes far more hostile. She can often be seen with a gas mask easily accessible around her neck and a book under one arm.
== Background ==
Hailyn grew up awakened. She did well in school, kept her chin down and muddled through life like most everyone. She was even set to go off to school which she did. Like most kids she partied too hard, managed to pass all her classes somewhere in the middle and didn't do much to stand out from teh crowd. She didn't have much of a plan for her future or life, didn't know what she would do apart from focusing on her magical studies. Her 21st birthday came and went without much notice until a few months later when she accidentally stumbled across a shadowy meeting in a back alley one night where she wasn't supposed to be.
Without having studied much in the way of combat spells and the alcohol in her blood hindering her ability to cast a spell before being caught, Hailyn was taken captive by the figures doing something obviously illegal. The next months was a blur of dark hours spent in a windowless room kept too dim for any kind of reading or work where she was questioned and fed a meager diet of bread and water. Her keepers event went so far as to conduct torture on her permanently damaging her nervous system.
After a number of days, time had no meaning to her at this point, she was disposed of in a meager apartment with a few months worth of nuyen in her pockets and told to enjoy her new life. Because all of her jailers were human she's a foul taste for the race in her mouth and is determined to discover who was behind her horrid experience.
Exploring her new home allowed her to discovered that she now lives in Rio De Geneiro with a single contact to help her get settled. Here she set about resuming her magical studies and attempting to make a life for herself.
== Concept ==
Hailyn, or Ash as she is known on the streets, is not a combat mage by any means. She focuses more on summoning spirits and throwing spells about that help her team more than aiding in combat. She has the ability to shoot a very snazzy weapon, but only as a last resort.
