@Farothel: it is your turn. Reproducing the maneuver has the same difficulty (threshold at 6) as Matt, although his warning gives you +3 dice. If you don’t want to do that, that’s perfectly OK, you still have more time to react than the trolls, so they will probably have a more difficult time deciding than you.

@MaxKojote: after Farothel, you’ll be up, although you will probably have to delay as the maneuver left the trolls temporarily out of sight.

Also, because of the violent nature of the maneuver, all within the car have -2 dice pool modifiers to all actions until Csjarrat’s next pass. (Normally, as you made two maneuvers and no action was spent to control the car, I’d say the -2 is for the whole next turn, but the test was so high above the threshold that I won’t bother.)
does a maneuver not count as a control action given its a vehicle test? just thinking it takes a lot of conrolling to powerslide a car round a corner at speed.
we'd always played it that if you're shooting out the window too much or wrestling with the guy on the back seat then thats where the issues started with "out of control".
no problems either way, vehicle combat rules are kinda messy!

Have to ponder a bit about Csjarrat's question (controlling vehicles). Anyway, the violent nature of the maneuver will surely give you (except the driver) the penalty until the next pass.
As Leroy doesn't have 2nd IP and the ganger at 10 fell out of the chase, it's MaxKojote's turn.

OK, for the next chase turn, Farothel should roll initiative and the initial pilot test (modifiers: -2 for the number of chasers, +2 for them failing their maneuvers slightly, so 0 total modifiers). The trolls following Miko, who failed their maneuver tests, will be at medium range at default instead of close. Csjarrat, you should only roll a pilot test if you want to join back into the chase, but you and your passengers will miss one chase turn. The result of the test will indicate how well you can position for rejoining the chase.

Initial vehicle tests for trolls (positive modifiers nullified by the confusion caused by your previous turn maneuvers, -2 for failing their maneuvers during the turn):
REA(4) + Bikes(4) + Handling(2) - modifiers(2) (8d6.hits(5)=3)
REA(4) + Bikes(4) + Handling(2) - modifiers(2) (8d6.hits(5)=3); and a glitch, the troll will have problems with the bike (some negative modifiers for maneuvers)
Initiative for trolls:
REA(4) + INT(3) (8d6.hits(5)=3); 9 (rolled one more die accidentally, so reducing the initiative by that success)
REA(4) + INT(3) (7d6.hits(5)=3); 10

A bit less, but no glitch, so it will have to work.  I'll use my first pass a 'control vehicle action' again, trying to gain a bit more distance.  In case I need another vehicle test for that (those vehicle rules are a bit unclear for me).

Troll #2 is at short distance, Troll #1 is at medium distance for chase combat purposes. For shooting, that's medium (-1 modifier) and long (-3 modifier). Second pass, Miko's turn.

Congratulations, you completed Part II. Everyone gets 7 karma for the run. Please think about what you want to improve (@Csjarrat: last time you mentioned Stealth skill group). Also, the Loyalty value of Tweety increases by one for Miko, Joel and Leroy, and all of you can add Judy as a new contact (Loyalty 1, Connection 2).

Also, there is a very important question about Leroy. As you noticed, Gustovness dropped out of the game and he didn’t even answer my PM. I wanted to ask you how you want me to handle the situation: should I continue playing his character or recruit a new player? There are ups and downs for both options, but let me mention this: I included the option for a player to enter the story later, even with a new character. Please tell me your opinions.

In the meantime, Downtime will be open shortly, if you want to start side scenes (like the Friday party for Farothel), please tell me OOC and I will come up with something IC. As there might be several side scenes in different times running parallel, I will devise some tags to differentiate between them, in order to keep things rolling. If any of you wants to discuss something with me (as the GM) in private, please contact me in PM.

I'll upgrade my pilot ground vehicle skill from 1 to 2.  I guess after all the driving it won't be a problem.
@Ren: can you tell the loyalty and connection rating of Tweety, as I haven't put him in my list yet.
I will start something for my party (getting dressed and such).

EDIT: As to Leroy or someone new, do whatever is the easiest for you.  I've been a GM myself, I know how much work it is.  Anything to make it easier.

cool, can't really remember what i went for now. think i was picking up the specialisation for wheeled on my pilot ground prior to this run, and then was going to pick up the stealth group.
i was wondering if it would be possible to get a turbo or engine customisation on the car during downtime?

As an FYI, I'm off on holiday next week (from Sunday to Saturday).  I might have internet, but probably not much and definately not much time to be on.  As we're in downtime I guess it's not that much of a problem.  We can do the party with Sam later, or I'll just do one post when I'm back.
