Joel held his hands up to show he wasn't armed. He focused entirely on  the two metahumans ahead of him, approaching them slowly. He didn't want to alarm the dwarf, who seemed to be in a state of shock. He spoke to the troll, tone nervous but polite. "It's a relief to find others around. My name is Joel, might you have any idea what has happened?" The lack of actual blood or obvious injuries was putting him on edge. It's like the life  had been sucked out of their bodies.

"Miko," she said, "I have no clue as to what happened.  One moment I'm standing guard at a medical station, the next moment there is no more medical section.  Except for shorty here."

--Miko and Matt--
Both the drone and echolocation found movement, althoug it became clear soon enough that it was only an idling maintenance drone in the mouth of one corridor. And the place itself didn’t help echolocation. Fountains provided a constant noise level that reduced the usefulness of wide-range searches almost to zero. Narrower, focused searches could have provided more informatin, but those would have also taken time and some amount of concentration. After a short while however, both of you became sure that there was not a living soul besides you four in the immediate area.

--all--
The emergency lights constantly played a trick with your vision. Flickering shadows created an illusion of movement but your hopes of finding another survivor were waning slowly, as each such case proved to be a false alarm. And even though it must have been a full-scale, top-level alarm, the fountains didn't stop playing their happy tunes, displaying ads, messages and sales in AR. There were no announcements, just the AR signs for the nearest emergency exit.
Everyone please make an INT + MAG test. If you are not awakened, treat MAG as zero.
Leroy did not accept that the only people alive just so happened to be the only ones standing up.  He began, in a more controlled and thoughtful manner, moving from body to body checking for vitals.  He remained within earshot of the other three survivors.  He refused to throw his arms up in defeat just yet.

Satisfied that they were not in immediate threat, Matt recalled the drone and stowed it back in its holster on his utility belt.
Sensing the frustration of the Medic and the lifelessness of the surrounding corpses, Matt realised the futility of staying where they were.
"Guys, a lot of shit has happened here and for whatever reason, I dont think the automatic distress call has been put out. We need to get in touch with the emergency services ASAP, get a full response organised. I can't pick up anything alive with my drone, only things that are moving are us and a few emergency drones. I'm not sure there is much we can do here to help.
I think we should all head for the emergency exits and raise the alarm. Anyone agree?

Joel was looking around nervously, the flickering of shadows kept him feeling on edge. He admonished himself for jumping at shadows, but was unable to help himself. "I concur. We don't have enough information to figure out what happened and I'd rather not be around to be shown what the cause was firsthand."

Intuition (5) + Magic (5) - Wounds(1) (9d6.hits(5)=3) No glitch.

"I was just saying that to mister here," Jade said, "but he's unwilling to leave.  As to what happened, no clue whatsoever."

LOG 2 + MAG 0 =2 (2d6.hits(5)=0)
critical glitch, but so be it.
extra 2 dice (2d6.hits(5)=2)
no glitch anymore.  :)

Matt nodded at Miko and took a good look at the frantic medic.
It was obvious he wasn't coping well and a look of helplessness pervaded his actions, despite his determination these people needed an undertaker more than a medic.
Matt decided to pipe up, hopefully a useful task would focus the Medic's mind and let him see sense.
"Excuse me, Medic, Please can you dress our wounds? We're a bit worse for wear"

Leroy looked up at the man asking for medical attention.  His eyes we bulging out of his head and it wasn't sure if his expression was conveying aggression as much as disbelief.

"YEAH, DAWG, ONE SECOND..."

Leroy walked over to one of the corpses and leaned over its face.

" 'scuse me, sir?  Imma get... Sir?"  Leroy picked up the corpse's arm by the wrist and started wiggling it.  "Siiirrrrr... I'm gonna take care of yo ass right away, but first I got somebody who's suffering from a life threatening splinter, and someone else who's got a boo-boo and needs a band-aid."

Leroy dropped the arm, turned towards the group, then immediately turned back to the corpse, "SIR, I SAID PLEASE BE PATIENT..."

Leroy shot a dirty look over to Matt and continued to check the corpses.

"It'll only take one you to hail emergency services.  In the meantime, I AM emergency services, so I'll stay here and offer help to anyone who may need it."

He looked over at Miko.

Unless you're leaving, why not help me check all of these bodies to make sure someone isn't still alive?"

Great stuff. Medic is a messiah, a sarcastic little fucker too. Screw him then.
"Point well made. You tend to your corpses"
"Right, I'm gonna go see if I can get outside and raise the alarm then. Anyone coming?"
Matt spoke at first to the medic, and then to the group.
Matt re-deploys his drone and re-readies his taser, switching on the laser sight for good measure.
Unless anyone else has a better idea?
He Issued it the following commands:
Follow Me
Prefer low light vision mode
Alert me to all new contacts
Perception test for the drone as it follows me: cam 4, vision enhance 3, clearsight 3, active search 3 (13d6.hits(5)=6)
6 hits, no glitch

The futility of what the dwarf started was apparent to everybody. And deep down, even Leroy knew that it was easier to find a needle in a haystack. Just here, in this junction of corridors, there were about a hundred people, or two. There were more juctions of this kind, more levels of the building. There must have been thousands lying around, thousands to check. But everyone could hear the repressed hysteria in Leroy's voice, and could understand the need to do. Something. Anything.

"I already did," Miko said to Leroy, starting to get a bit fed up with him.  She was willing to help him up to a point, and she had now reached said point.
"I have an echolocation system.  All are dead.  Sorry.  Let's get out."
A bath, that would be a very good thing right now.  And maybe a massage.  She would have to check if she could find back that address she had gone to last time.  Trevor, she thought was the guy's name.  It had been heaven.

An unnerving feeling started to form in you. It was like an itch, only you didn't know where you had to scratch. It was like being dirty. It wasn't strong but it very slowly got stronger.

The weird feeling caught Matt off guard, making him feel uneasy and overly aware of his skin.
Joel, are you coming?
He motioned to Miko with his taser and set off towards the ARO for the emergency exits, heading for the nearest one, the fly-spy hovering above his right shoulder
