I use books, my brain and notepad.
So yeah the Foot Anchor question? Also It says I have -237,845 nuyen left, but I've only spent what i had when he was 400 BP?

Are you being precise on Ammo counting?

On the first tab where you adjust your stats to the right is what you are looking for.   That is  where you can adjust you starting cash.   Toss 100 karma into that and you are all set.

Foot Anchor... It should technically probably be Exotic Melee weapon, but I seriously hate that stupid skill. Second choice would probably be Unarmed Combat (Spur), imho.
But sure, Blades work.
I'm nice like that.

That said, I do kind of have a problem with their availability. 'Normal' Cyberspur is12 and Forbidden. But the Foot Anchor, which helps its owner shoot bullets easier in addition to having the exact same deadly use as the Cyberspur, has a lower availability and technically couldn't legally be prevented from being walked right up to the president? That's just silly...

I can just give you another 8k if you like, I can spare it and buy 2000 nuyen of ammo

(Otherwise, as he was built from the foot anchors up, I'd have to scrap him and start over)

Ah yeah, I'm lacking at least one of those.

It's not uncommon.  I know a lot of GMs use Daegann's, and insist their players use it.
Stopped using Daegann's the second I found Chummer.
That said, I might use it again when I get my Surface RT... Don't think it can run Chummer :(

Get some more Fake SIN's? Considering how good Three Star seems to be at making friends, I'm surprised he doesn't have dozens of identities and safehouses to hide with... Unless he's only got 1 left because he already had to burn the other 11 :p

Don't care about the price, it's the legality of having hidden weapons built inside you: it simply is illegal.
Any other cyberweapon is at the very least Restricted and all of the ones resembling anything like the anchor are Forbidden. You can't tell me that doesn't strike you as a bit odd.
That said, I'll let it be Restricted because excuses like 'I'm a mountaineer and use spurs for my safety" are probably legally just as valid as all those people buying automatic rifles for 'personal protection' or 'hunting'.

Edit: Apparently having blades or other sticky inside you is illegal, but having heavy firearms built inside you is legal with a license.

Oh yeah, the ammo: Please try keeping count of anything more expensive or harder to get than regular ammo.
I won't fault you for missing a couple of bullets, but an infinite rain of Ex-Ex or APDS rounds would be... troublesome. (Especially since then I can use that against you, too.)

Of course the amount of bullets in your firearms always need to be monitored.

"So... you needed that Strength Enhancement on your cyberlimb for..." He looks up at the 9 feet of Troll, a large metallic treetrunk of an arm at his side.
"Ope'nin Jam Jaa's, Officer"
"Yeah okay, move along."

I was considering a permanent bolt hole, but it would be 20k.

With the ammo, Three Star didn't have anything over regular ammo for his weapons, so the GM didn't make me buy any.

Also are you going license per item or with reasonable job (So weaponry and smartlink and ware covered by Bounty Hunter License?)

Licences:
Weapons: One per weapon category (or at least, the R-rated weapons)  + one for concealed carry. (For categories, just look at the skills: pistol / automatic / rifle /...)
Bio/cyberware: One per restricted item.
Other items: One per job/cover/category. What makes a category? Let's say your SIN says you're a wildlife photographer. Then you might get away with putting chameleon gear (so the animals don't see you), shock frills (protection vs. predators), maybe even a laser microphone (find out if something's in that nest), grapple gun (to get to difficult places) and some gas (protection vs. predators) in a single license. You will have a hard time explaining why you need anti-technological or lockpicking items with the same license, though.
A drivers licence or stuff like that don't need to be bought, they're part of your (fake) SIN.

Anyone have any suggestions on contacts?  Currently have 3.

Arms Dealer 3,5
Fixer 3,1
Street Doc 3,3

I have 15 free contact points or 30 karma worth to spend.

Maybe get one or two more and/or reclaim some karma back for skills and such.

Maybe a mercenary group contact that has a wide reach that would tie in with his military background.

That would make sense, and it would help if we're spending most of our time away from Seattle.

You've been playing on this board longer than I have and never used Chummer?
I don't think I'm able to make a character without it!

You're unable to create a character using any tool (in reasonable time) ;)
Sorry for a small delay ;)
