Yes he does.  I still have a little bit to do on it.  Here's the short version.

Grew up in Seattle.  Mom died when he was 13.  Got into some trouble when he was a teen.  His dad, a retired marine, straightened his ass out.  Charley joined the military following in his dads footsteps.  Retired after 20 years.  Hadn't intended to go into running the shadows but a old service buddy of his called. (His arms dealer contact).  He knew of a job that needed a demo man.  Passed down from his father he's dedicated to family no mater what form it comes in.  It doesn't matter if blood, forged in service, or made on the streets.  If he considers you family you have a friend for life. 

That's the short version.

Charley lived a long and fulfilled life till that fateful job went down the shit hole.  It all started when...

The impact was enough to trigger a series of cataclysmic events that annihilated roughly 99.35% of the world population and forced the remainder of metahumanity to retreat into underground or undersea arcologies, where they'd be trapped for generations to come. Even fewer would emerge from these arcologies a few centuries later and find....
Well... What they found is of little concern to <insert character name>. The pressure wave caused by the meteorite's impact travelled toward <him/her> several times faster than the speed of sound and killed <insert character name> instantly.
<He/She> did not suffer, although the widespread panic when the meteors flaming trail could be spotted in the night sky as it headed towards the city wasn't very pleasant.

So, are we all just about set or should we work out which party member know each other beforehand, if any?

I can only speak for myself, but my character is pretty much done unless Xxylvador has something bothering him. As far as knowing other characters, Rat might know someone that hangs out in the slums a lot, but besides that, I don't see the story behind a possible connection.

P.I.G.: Skillwires Rating 4 are avail 16. You need to get either Restricted Gear quality or drop the rating to 3.

Spooky: Nothing wrong per-se, but I'm just going to point out that there's little reason for you to buy the Analyze Magic spell and might be better off with picking another one.
The spell allows you to Assense things you can touch. You can cast it with a dicepool of 6. But you have an Assensing dicepool of 12(14), an ability which doesn't require any effort, gives no drain and works at LOS range instead of touch. Why would you ever use the Analyze Magic spell?
