Don't think that should be a problem. Roleplaying's far more important than rule knowledge and I'm sure the others and I could help you with any questions. GM & no other games ongoing scores you some pretty good points.

Sorry if I'm rushing things... Feel free to interrupt me or tell me if anything I write doesn't sync with what you want(ed) to do, I've no problems with editing my posts in order to let you do your things.
But other than a slim chance of falling down the fire escape, there's nothing that should really stop your characters from continuing. The alley and apartment are clear as far as you can see. (Clear of any danger that is, there's a bunch of junks a small distance away, but as long as you stay out of their way and don't look like you're too interested in their activities, they look like they'll try hard to ignore you, too.)

If you guys want to do any knowledge rolls you think'd be helpful at this point, do them. I'll tell you what you know before we proceed.
Most relevant would be knowledge about Gangs (Seattle or Elven), Underworld (Politics), Politics (Backroom/Underworld), Smuggling (Tir, Drugs) or Shadow Community.
They're differently involved and in a larger or smaller capacity depending on which knowledge skill is rolled.

Edit/add: Alternatively, you can ask contacts too, if you want. A single hit on any of Gangs, Underworld or Smuggling will at least let you decide that this guy is most likely involved with the Laésa. (Politics or Shadow Community would take 2 hits)
