"I can handle aircrafts, but I'm not familiar with sea vehicles. But if gorgeous here" and Rat motions to Syra with a simple head movement "can find me a skillsoft, then I could do it."

"The arcology has plenty of room for everyone on the island... I take it your silence means you can not do it?", Steiner asks Syra rhetorically. "Very well. That doesn't have to be a problem."
"I might be able to get you accommodations, but don't expect too much from it. And Quinten said that he could arrange transportation, at a price. You know the Laésa are smugglers, right? In any case, I suppose I can afford his fee if it means increasing the odds of this attack succeeding."[/color]

Steiner leans forward, closer to you, and squints his eyes.
"You do understand that this is no 'ordinary' run, do you? You are to deliver TerraFirst! their greatest triumph yet.
In order for that to succeed, a number of things need to happen. This can not look like it was done by Shadowrunners, -we- did this, not you. If you get caught or leave evidence that this was done by anyone other than TerraFirst! operatives, this mission is a failure. And afterwards, you can not tell anyone this, ever.
Also, half an hour before their defenses are destroyed, we will broadcast a message on every system in the arcology and to the world at large, claiming responsibility for the imminent attacks. By then, the weather will be too bad for anyone to prevent it from happening and the terror and outrage of the public will be maximized. This broadcast has already been arranged for by Manuel, our operative in the Arcology. You will meet with him when you arrive on the island. He might be able to give you some extra help."

"It sounds like you want to buy our silence on top of our services" says Rat. "You do know that in this field of work, our reputations are most valuable to us. So if nobody can know we did something this big, it has to be worth our time. I have no problem with the run and never taking credit for it, but I need to be properly compensated."

"Personally, I can agree to that, this kind of Street Cred wouldn't help me anyway. The attack is and will make sure to look like a Terrafirst attack through and through for the price i am sure you are preparing to pay us, not to worry."

Stroking his chin he raised a finger, "The Laesa would indeed be a good way to get to the island, they are accomplished smugglers. Your contact on the island can likely help us to not stand out from people who are used to being there."

Boomer nods as the others speak.   Rep for this kind of attack would do hime no good on the streets.  Besides if this went off well it could spell more work from Steiner.

"Is there any evidence that you would want us to leave behind to further make this look like a Terrafirst operation?  Also your contact on the island,  would he be able to get us gear?  I doubt smuggling in explosives among other things would be a wise.  I understand the Laesa are good but pushing it could blow be op just as we step on the island."

Steiner seems mildly amused by Rat's comment on reputation and slowly nods his head when his partner's chime in. "Your partners seem to get the gist of things... 'Rat', was it? This isn't something you want to take credit for, us claiming complete responsibility for this attack is just as good for you as it is for us."
In response to Three Star, he says "I think I have an idea on how to arrange your cover, Manuel can take care of that... It's part of an operation we were planning there a few months ago. It didn't go well, the entire team was busted at the first stages of that attack..." He seems a bit embarrassed at admit it. "I don't know how the cops found 'em, raised some flags buying their equipment seems most likely. Manuel was just a new recruit then and he wasn't really involved with the active part of the op, that's probably why they didn't get him too. Besides, he doesn't fit the 'terrorist profile'. He's one of the few locals of the island and has worked as a janitor inside Urbe Mina... and according to what my operatives told me about him, not among the brightest of people.
I hope that answers your question too, 'Boomer', don't expect too much from him. He's still got a way into some of their systems thanks to part of what's left from the previous op, enough to manage the broadcast and maybe arrange a cover for you. Maybe he can tell you some of the people my previous operatives were dealing with, but I'm not sure. They didn't involve him with that because he was too inexperienced and, I quote, 'not too bright'. And like I said, one of those dealers might've been the ones who ratted them out to security."

He shrugs his shoulders and with an incredulous look adds. "As for evidence, you really don't think my face on trideo saying 'TerraFirst! will destroy your town in less than an hour.' is enough evidence?"

Three Star really surprised Rat for a second. He couldn't believe a man with such a big ego wouldn't want to be known as the one that took down a whole arcology by himself. The man was either lying, or he was telling the truth. Rat, still stunned, decided that lying made much more sense as an explanation here. He couldn't understand why, but decided to go with it. Maybe it was some sort of negotiation technique he didn't know about. "Yeah, me neither" answered the ork, trying to play it cool.

Boomer nodded at Steiner when he spoke about evidence.  "Just want to make sure. The last thing any of us needs is two AAA corps gunning for those responsible.  I don't mind street cred but that kind woud also endanger those close to me.  I don't need that."  He paused for a second.  "Your man Manuel, could he have been the leak on the inside?

Steiner shrugged. "It's not impossible and the thought did cross my mind. But it's pretty unlikely. Like I said, he was new and not deeply involved yet. If he'd wanted to damage TerraFirst!, it would've been smarter to wait and get to know more about the organization before pulling the plug.
Regardless, I sent someone to talk to him after it happened, a woman who's pretty good at reading people. She says she's rarely talked to anyone so dedicated to bringing down the corporations on that island. Manuel was born and raised there, the corporations destroyed the island, his home, his family...
If anything, his zeal coupled with his inexperience might make him a liability because he's more likely to do something stupid that'd get him caught... But if that's what happened, he would've been caught and his backdoors into the system would've been closed long ago."

"I agree with your decision to continue his use as an asset then. Everything seems to be in order with how this job is set up, unless any of you feel I, Three Star, have missed anything? I hope none of you are planning to take Quentin's offer instead of Steiner's." He leans back slightly to lessen his focus on Steiner and open his body language to the others.

Steiner looks surprised. "Hm. Sorry to disappoint, but I hadn't even thought of that, to be honest.
If anything, I'd tell you to steer clear from any leaks, this job opportunity is far too unique and this job far too big to risk on something like that. Besides, after the job's done, we probably won't ever have to deal with anyone on that island for quite some time, so whoever the leak was wouldn't really be relevant anymore anyway."

"That answers all the questions I had but one" says Rat out loud. He then reaches for another fruit and takes a bite out of a mango, the juices spilling all over his robes. "How the drek are you supposed to eat this thing without soiling yourself?" asks the ork.

Steiner frowned but said nothing about the last comments.
Of the five people gathered, only Syra mentioned she didn't want to be part of this. Steiner accepted her refusal and didn't attempt to persuade her otherwise. He asked her to go to Quinten, who would be waiting for her in a tree on the path he pointed towards. When she'd vanished out of sight, he continued.
"Well, that's all arranged then? I'll have to see if Quinten can find a replacement for her on very short notice, I'm told she was supposed to be your matrix expert, hard to do this sort of work without one.
I'll see that he arranges payment with the replacement, too. As for you, asides from the transport and accommodations I'll assist you with and the credsticks already received, you'll be paid 50.000 nuyen upon delivery of TerraFirst!'s great victory."
