@Zach:
You manage to get your message across and drop your commlink but the thing is fast, real fast.  The swinging doors of the operating room almost knock you over as they burst open and the whirring sound of the chrome monstrosity's monofilament chainsaw makes your stomach clench.  The teeth lining the edge of the weapon are just a blur and the arm comes down straight for you.

@Stake & Storm:
The dwarven golem opens it's maw and begins to hose down the plasticrete barricade with a stream of acid so putrid you have to concentrate not to gag.  You both stand back a little ways to not get splattered.

As you peak briefly to see the effect on the wall you see the bile colored liquid instantly begin to eat a decent sized crater into the barricade but it still isn't through to the other side yet.

The lynx seems like quite a match for your feline reaction times and his whirring combat saw is swinging a little bit too close to your face for comfort.  The mechanical monstrosity takes another lunge at you.

The dwarven golem spews another vile blast of green acid at the crater in the barricade and it melts like jelly, creating a hole just big enough for you to fit through but you need to be very careful not to let any of that insanely potent acid drip on you.  It's almost completely dark inside and stale air mixed with the putrid acid smell blast your nose and you hear some kind of metalic whirring sound coming from within along with gunfire.

Storm grabs an enormous pinecone reagent from her belt pouch. She crushes the pinecone in her left hand, sending brittle shards deep into her hand. Blood squirts between her fingers, immediately clotting into hard rivulets as it pours from the wound. The old pine sap gets into the wound. It hurts BAD. Storm smiles in a ferocious grin as she blasts a spell at the mechanical beast in front of her. Her Silence spell gives a creepy and murderous effect to the whole scene.

Seeing that Zach was down, Stake didn't hesitate. Even though the drone was a bit far for the taser, he took aim, zooming in at the same time, hoping that it took enough damage to slow it down for him to hit. It was still a better option than to attack it separately, from the matrix.

Your shot hits the thing almost in the same charred spot where Storm's plasma blast hit it.  It jerks as the current spreads over it's chasis and seems even more dazed as your timing hit it just right to put it even more off guard.
