My security seems to be having a bad day...

As the car chase that is on the news today is one of theirs.

The only areas of weakness in their security as far as i can see are the park and my lab at the university as they can't get access to my building.
Of course of your as good as you seem to think you are then the campus security shouldn't be an issue for you.

I have a lab session this evening with some of my PhD students, the session is due to start at 8pm.
I should be able to slip out un-noticed.

Lynx looks to Flea expectantly, "Well?"

Flea gives Lynx the thumbs up as she continues the conversation in AR, dictating her thoughts into conversation

The furthest I can get from the lab without being detected by security is the cafeteria on the same floor.
After than I can't guarantee anything so you will need to take it from there.

I know there are wards on every level to track the astral movements on site. and there is are security guard on patrol of the campus at that time of day.

I need to get off the call now before the handlers suspect something ...


The call disconnects abruptly as you hear the phone rustling in his pocket briefly.

Icer looks over the two as one seems to be busy else wear it seems. If these guys tell me the run is off I'm not going to be too pleased. Not sure if I can grab that van from them either they both seem skilled that is for sure. Icer drags back some mist of death into his already blackened lungs then ex-hails. Crazy stuff happens in the shadows, this might have gone south. I hope not lets just wait and see. Icer makes sure to give himself some space between these two skilled runners in case things turn bad fast.

Powering the burner link down, she pivots in her seat to Lynx
He's willing, he wants to leave. The best opportunity we have is at 8pm tonight from his seminar room. Campus security has decent coverage but he reckons the best place to pick him up will be from the cafeteria near his lab.
It sounds like they've got good magical security; wards on every level so it's gonna be hard for me and Icer to get in without pinging their wage-mages. What you reckon?

Lynx smiles, "Ah finally some good news.  Campus security should not be a problem as long as I have a reasonable excuse for being in the cafeteria.  Though some student credentials or a visitors pass would help greatly.  I do not mind going in alone as long as we have secure communications.  However we need an extraction plan.  How close can we get a vehicle to this cafeteria? "

That's what we need to figure out today. How we looking for tails?

[Lumen]

"I didn't spot any on the way.  Let us go, quickly." 

Lynx turns to Icer,  "Alright, I hope you were paying attention.   We're moving on to Plan B, follow us.  You may not be able to enter but we'll need your eyes."

He fires up thr old truck and waits for Icer to mount his bike.

Icer bows at Lynx. Ya I copy that. Icer kills his smoke in a pocket ash tray then moves to his bike and helmets up and fallows the two runners. Well lets see what this school for higher learning has in store for me. Hope a nuyen payday.

I'm going to see what I can get on the University whilst you drive
Sitting back in the seat, Flea entered hotsim and searched for the University's node.

The university is a public place and public places and building mean public records... you find a standard blue print for the building and some basic maps from the university note.
A quick examination of the document shows that the cafeteria in the professors building is on the first floor and his lab is on the 4th.


The journey towards the university campus is uneventful, the city is starting to settle into the weekday 8-6 as the pitiful wage-slaves toil away until the thumbs of their masters.

As you arrive at the campus the bustling environment is a stark contrast to the rets of the city with a busy hive of activity, students walking to lectures socialising in the common area, in short being students.

The professors building is on the far side of the campus but its sheer majesty is evident even form here.
An old brick building with sand stone detailing, the entrance a grand porch suspended by immense sand stone columns. the building is half covered in Ivy and the windows In the old wooden frames are warped with age and slightly dull casting off strange not uniform reflections.

Flea saves a copy of the blueprint, re-opening it in her edit suite. Marking the the location of the nearest carpark, the lab and the cafeteria she then forwards on the file to the team.
//All goes to plan, we can pick him up from the cafeteria on the first floor. If what the Prof said was accurate, that means there is only one ward to pass through, though we don't know where that ward is. I'm going to try and scout out their matrix defences, though it might be a bit out of my abilities to get full access rights.//

Icer fallows the two team mates to the University. Once he gets Flea's message he sends one back.
