"The winds of fate had seen to knock me to the ground." Magpie said, raising his arms as he started to tell a story. His previously somewhat lazy drawl of a voice also became stronger and more confident . He clearly liked telling tales, or maybe he just liked telling this one.
"I had no job, no money, no home and my little chickie had just hatched. I did not want to be a bad man. Did not want to be a bad father, scrounging from his other and then, I dreamt." He lowered his arms and grinned.
"The great Manitou, Raven had seen fit to look upon me in my despair. Now, Raven is a trickster god who likes to play tricks on the proud, and take advantage of their woes, but hidden in that darkness he also has kindness and caring for his young. He came to me in my dreams and gave me the gift. He taught me how to look after myself and my people." he chuckled.
"So, yeah. I sling mojo fer Raven, fer Money and fer big momma nature. What 'bout you, chummer?"
