Go ahead and give me a Negotiations roll Mercy.  Because this is an out of game post I want to clarify something, the stats that your commlink has (System and Signal) are not software attributes, that is hardware.  To improve your implanted commlink means going under the knife and having someone physically replace stuff that you are carrying around in your head.  If this sounds scary, it should, especially if you are having it done in a place that you aren't perfectly familiar with.

For the ones at The Top of the World, you guys need to tell me where you are headed, and if you are contacting Snow and Bullet Storm (which I just now realized the initials of and plan to start using them in the near future   ,  OOC obviously, don't need random gunfire )

If you need software to run at a higher rating than what your system can do, get the optimization option (it's somewhere in unwired).  It's what I have done on my commlink to get a rating 6 analyse to run on a rating 4 OS.

It is likely that you can get to your rifle, but I would caution at this point bringing out the heavy artillery.  This is not Seattle or Denver where you have a chance to keep that stuff under wraps.

They would know to be cautious, with all of the camera drones buzzing around most places actually LOOKING for something exciting to happen.  O'Connor might not give a shit, but the overly cautious and thoughtful Clem would definitely be careful about shooting anything beyond a heavy pistol (or even that in some places).

An interesting point, Sammy might NOT know how to handle things.  She was never armed once she started working for Horizon, unless she was filming a scene.  (Not telling farothel how to play it, just making you aware of the option)

Snow does not have the sort of money that this man is asking for and probably cannot afford much of an upgrade if his numbers are accurate.  Besides, she needs a way out now so that she can get to her team.  If the man buys into the Vory thing then she might still get something, but he might just walk and Snow will need to try to cultivate another contact.

You're right there, Crossbow.  Sammy would probably have had a taser for self-defence and then a bunch of bodyguards (just as we are now).  And of course stunbolt if it was necessary.  One of the main advantages of that one is the same as with a taser: while you will be questioned after you use it, if you do so in self-defence, it will not go further.

On the other hand, she does know that there are cameras everywhere, even more than in Seattle and she will caution against the use of heavy firepower as she will probably know that it will be investigated by the police (unless you do it in El Infierno, which is like the Barrens, but a lot wetter).

EDIT: I'm in the process of changing jobs, so if in the coming couple of months I suddenly drop of the radar for a day or two, don't be alarmed.  I'll try not to, but until I can move (which will take some time) I'm looking at a three hour commute every day (maybe more depending on traffic).
