@Shade & James As you enter the area traffic becomes much, much lighter. Each house is set on some serious acreage, and most of that is only visible through the gate. The neighborhood itself only consists of a dozen of so mansions that are only visible through their gates. But, the gates are wide enough for four cars side by side and the driveways wide enough for two cars. There are no convenient spots in the area itself to pull over. Heaven forbid one of the owners of these palatial estates would ever have car trouble, and they don't want anyone else to have car trouble there either. You spot two Lone Star patrols in the area just driving through it. One of which followed you closely for over half a mile. The images you get from the fly-spys are static filled. Evidently the desire for privacy extends to the electronic as well. What you can see of the buildings shows a six car garage. Overwatch of the neighborhood from a vantage point you located almost a click away finally shows the kid arriving home. Car is an Az Governor, the few glimpses of him that you get through the landscaping and the static show him walking from the garage to the house beside a bodyguard type. Entrances and exit's do match

Looks like this is very secure. No place to pull off, extreme noise since it is messing with my connection considering the amount of noise reduction my deck and drone has running. Along with at least 2 roving Lone Star patrols, Guess we need to head back. Why don't you alert the rest of them to what we found and let them know to get ready to go to the first outing on the itinerary where the mages can assence the targets since we can park and they won't have to chase their bodies.

ugh... nothing much we can do here... IŽll inform the others.

Quickly switching into VR James takes a sneak peek into the virtual landscape, noise or no noise if the house is sporting a host wan it should be clearly visible to anyone on VR.

>>compose text message
  >>>Surveillance of the house is a no go. Jammers built in the surrounding location. Professor, did the lady gave us any password for a host inside that file she sent?

"Yeah, I expected as much," Loki replied simply.

He performed a quick Matrix Search of the school and surrounding areas to try to get the lay of the land, and once the results came in he messaged the two techies and the others again.

"Check out the school, too; it would be good to know if there's anywhere I can get a view of the entrance or wherever the kids are dropped off, anyway, or if I need some kind of disguise or something. Oh, and keep some bugs in the air as lookouts for the mom, the kid, and the husband. When morning comes around, I'll scope out the school to get a sense for the kid's Talent.

Oh, and see what you can do about the husband's schedule. If you a draw a blank, do some research on the violin recital and get me the name of the band leader or whatever those guys are called, and I'll make a call to the dad's office to confirm if he's attending or not. I may not have much tech savvy, but I can talk rings around an assistant any day of the week.

I'm setting an alarm for sunrise tomorrow, wake me only if you need something urgently."

With the last part of his message done, he hit the send button and prepared for a nights rest by settling into one of the cots that had been provided.

Before slipping into sleep, however, he focused on the world around him and dove into the Astral. Not wanting to spend too much time here before getting some much needed rest, he swiftly moved to the school's location and surveyed the grounds, looking for entrances and possible spots to hide out while keeping watch for roving spirits and other magicians.

Once he'd completed a few rounds of the area, he went back to his body, checked his link for messages, and slipped into the dream world.

The Professor would do what he can to rest now, having a good meal and the like to recover completely from todays events.

Derren was hardly surprised when he heard about the security at the mansion, it was to be expected after all.
It was encouraging to hear that the kid only travelled with one guard, even the most heavily augmented guard could be overwhelmed in an ambush by a team of lesser indivuduals when they had surprise and planning on their side.
He grabbed a dry marker and walked over to the planning board, scribbling down his ideas.
Guys, Dunno about you, but I'm beginning to see a plan coming together here. The mansion is a fortress right; high walls, EM jamming, regular patrols? And the school is likely to have MAD scanners, onsite security and a decent response time too, right? So, I'm thinking
Why attack at their strong points?
The kid gets out of the car, what, 4-6 times a day between going to and from school and after school activities? He's walking relatively unguarded across public spaces. A couple well placed stun grenades and we can spring him during transport. We also have the advantage of knowing where he's going and when he needs to be there for, so wouldn't need a really tight tail on his movements.
Best bit about it is, we're already on the road ready to make our escape. We've got to pick up the wife first, but she's more of a free spirit, movement across the city centre wont look so suspicious to anyone following her movements. Thoughts?

"The problem with hitting during transport is this.. The Professor walks up to Darren and grabs the marker from his hand, and then walks off a bit with it. "Now your upset that I took the marker from you. You know I took it from you. Because you were in the middle of using it. It would be the same with the kid, they would know and be upset that we took him. However if you take him from a place where they aren't guarding him specifically, then it becomes quite a bit easier. "  he remarks handing the marker out. "Its not as simple as just getting them. We have to get them out too. And getting them out is a problem when they already know someone took them."

Yeah, I see where you're coming from prof, but as soon as we walk into that school or hop over the fence at the mansion, we're running against a ticking clock. First we might have to fight our way in to secure the kid; then we may have to fight our way out. then we've got a seriously pissed off family and alerted police and we've still got the issue of getting the kid and the wife away from the scene.
We snatch them in transit we bypass the need to deal with security, cameras, MAD scanners and all of that shit. Straight up ambush. flashbang, stun gas whatver. knock em out, clean and quick and then get to putting as much space in between us and his dad as possible.

"That is why I'm suggesting the recital for now. Provided its something where multiple kids play, there would be lots of different adults there are very little centralized security. We set up for something to happen in transit for the father, something that could be explained as an accident rather than a group of people suddenly appearing and shooting a guard dead and dragging a kid away in broad daylight. It becomes a ticking clock then too. If the Fairy can make himself look like the mother he should be able to make himself look like the father too."

Since it seemed no one was getting any rest yet, and since there weren't even any cots at the safe house, Loki listened in and eventually spoke up.

"Too bad we can't get Teach in as a substitute professor at the school", Loki remarked.

"But seriously, cut the military thinking for a second. Why fire any shots at all if we don't need to. What I'm proposing is minimal risk, maximum reward. I swap places with the mother, notify the father that I'm taking the kid from school early as a reward for good behaviour or something, and then we fake a car crash in the lake where our plane is waiting while en route to some place or another. This gives us the most time between when the kid is expected to be anywhere and when it's discovered that he's not, and we can control the scene as much as we like. Before anyone even realize that something is amiss, we'll be halfway to the Tir. And no, I haven't seen the dad, so I can't imitate him as well as I can the mother."

The Professor would pull up information on the father for all to see. Surely there was some photos in press releases and the like or something.

"Listen Teach, you''re obviously a smart guy, but a con requires more than just smarts. To successfully con someone, you need a line on how they move and act. I've observed the mother, not the father".

"You never saw how she acted around the kid. Only for the moment while in public." The professor reminds him. "But if you think you can pull it off Fairy, by all means do so. Though I do not think I have anything to provide to it." He shrugs softly, moving to one of the work desks, and climbing up on it, using his coat as a blanket and tool kit as a pillow. It was a softer leather case and his tools were too hard. "I'm getting some sleep.. hopefully tomarrow I can fix my thingy"
