Snow will send a message out to the group, <Studio security confirms that these spybots are not theirs.  They claim they get stuff like this all the time.  I have tracked one.  Specs:  Shiawase Kanmushi spy drone.  The dampening here in the room is probably enough to prevent any rigger from being in direct control unless he is hiding in one of these boxes, so they are probably under remote or automatic control, gathering data that can be collected later.  Clem, do you want me to try to hack one?  As of now we are going full encryption on our internal comms unless you advise otherwise.>  *Damn.  These are not that hard to spot.  How did I miss them when we first got in here?*  <Scanning to see how many of these suckers are in here.>

Sammy's astral scouting trip reveals nothing unexpected.  She finds Minnie Maxx in a meeting of some kind, and another uninitiated mage near the sound stage, probably a magical adviser to the movie.  Security-wise there are a several watchers on the perimeter who completely ignore her, apparently their instructions are to alert someone if an astral being enters the area, but not if one is wandering around inside of it.

O'Connor raised an eyebrow as he swung his rifle off his shoulder and stood ready, "I'd be glad to demonstrate." He stood idle while Snow and Sammy did their respective things. After a few minutes he turned to Clem, "I'll keep an eye on stuff outside. Wouldn't do to have the enemy attack with all of us crammed in here." With that he exited the room and stood guard at the door. He set his commlink's camera to record and placed it in the breast pocket of his jacket. From there it'd be able to record what was in his forward field of vision. He figured that if something went down, the team would have vid of any enemies that might get away, and he'd also have something for the Pito thing.

Snow scans the room with her Mk 1 Eyeball while her deck continues it's search.  She quickly figures why they were so hard to spot, even with overlay of the now revealed node of the drone she almost can't see the tiny thing from her seat.  Even knowing what to look for now is almost no help, she finally see one not half a meter from the first on the back wall as her deck pings a third on the ceiling.

The news was some kind of relief. "Means we can play with these things without alerting their owners, right?" thought the ork at Ophelia's remark. "Good thinking, Con" said Clementine at O'Connor's idea. She turned to Torley and asked him "Want to accompany him? It's always better to have two people standing together. Let me figure out what to do here in the meantime and I'll update you on the plan of action."

Clem sent a message to the team. <Yes, from now on, I want our conversations to be completely private. Do what you have to do with the spybot and find out where it comes from, it's all yours. Sammy, stay with her, I want to go talk to the head of security here, see what physical means they have going on.>

Snow will mentally nod.  <On it, boss.  Encryption of all comms starts...now.  Just remember that you are likely off the net outside the room, so be careful.  I have to admit that these little guys are hard to spot on the matrix.  Perhaps stealthed?  I will try to hack one, but I have at least three located now.  I wonder id they are set for the Pito to broadcast an event that someone expects to happen here.  I believe that this is a very common spy drone and the number of them in one room might indicate that several people have put them here, which might tie into the Pito theory.  I will try to hack one now that I have it located.>  She will attempt to probe to gain entrance to the Kanmushi.  If successful, she will attempt to examine its programming to see what instructions it has been given. *Come to mama, baby drone.  Come to mama.*  Snow also maintains her constant sweep of the room to see if anything else pops up as well as monitoring the small net.

Sammy sent an aknowledgement, before she summuned a watcher spirit as well, putting it on standby.  She wanted another messenger ready in case she needed one in a hurry and the commlinks were jammed again.  Next she also started thinking about what she would do if an attack came.  An illusion like she had done in the warehouse would be best, but maybe put the guys in a PCC elite unit uniform.  She started a quick search to get the correct uniform and unit patch.  It was always a nice touch if you added that.  She also checked her P2 account to see if people she had sent a network request had already answered.

I see at least five visitors, Sam sent when he'd finished his trip around the room. At Clem's suggestion, he nodded. "Sure, no problem. Everything looks good in here." Stepping out, he nodded to O'Connor, then glanced around to see where he could place himself most comfortably while still keeping an eye on the door.

O'Connor returned Torley's nod. O'Connor kept checking the people near the storage room, trying to tell if anyone was taking too much interest in it. Anytime someone passed near, O'Connor dropped his finger from the fire selector to the trigger of his rifle. He also mean mugged the hell out of them to encourage them to move along quickly.

Clem followed Torley out of the room, making sure to tell everyone to "Stay in communication." Once out, she tried to orient herself to the nearest security outpost, using the blueprint Ophelia had given her for direction. She wanted to make sure everyone present knew who they were and also what the security personnel was supposed to look like.

Sammy's connections have already paid dividends on the group's collective Pito rating.  Their C rating is already a 6 thanks to the connection to Sammy, and their M ratings have quickly climbed past 20 as people assume that anyone Samantha Delavine knows is someone worth knowing too.  Most are simply unknown glitter chasers, but the name Liam Starcross does stand out as a familiar one.

For Clem, the security operation of the studio, just like everything else in this place, seems wrong.  No centralized station, bodysecurity that more obvious than their principals, it is giving her headache wrapping her mind around it.  She still manages to get some face time with all present and make sure her crew doesn't end up getting shot at from all sides.

With her deck continuing to locate and catalog microdrones, Snow carefully checks out and takes command of the first little bug.  The mission coded into its simple little brain was to first find out what was inside all of the cases that were being placed in the room, then insert a backdoor code into the maglock of the room, and then escape and get itself into the nearest trash bin, assumingly for a later pickup off site.

She is able to quickly verify that the backdoor had not yet been inserted, though the drones did have a good idea of what the cases contained by this point.  After 90 minutes of search time she is fairly confident she has located all of the bugs and commanded them to line up like good soldiers, a dozen in all, on a shelf at eye level for quick collection or dispatch.

Just as she is finishing up inside, someone from the tech crew finally wanders over to the storage locker and playfully tries act tough by way of introduction to O'Connor.  "I hear you big, bad shadowrunners are looking for an exterminator."

Snow will use her account with the security node to seek out Clem.  <Boss.  I have a dozen of these suckers lined up and standing at attention.  It appears that all of them are here to gather information on the cases and insert a backdoor into the lock of the room.  Someone has some serious nuyen to throw at this if they are willing to commit twelve of these drones to one job.  At this time they have not managed to put the back door in place, but they do have most of the information about the crate contents.  The normal use would be to have them transmit this information after being picked up, but I cannot be certain if the owners have gotten the information somehow.  I am still trying to find out who they belong to.  What do you want me to do with them?  I could wipe their memories and deactivate them.  It is possible that we could sell them to a rigger if you know one in the market, or perhaps trade them for some needed software upgrades for my system to help us stay secure.>  She will continue to probe the first drone to see if the owner can be identified.

O'Connor gave a hard stare to the tech as way of greeting, "Name." His tone made it clear that this was a demand, not a request. He also sent off a text, <[Recipient: Clem | Source: Text]: Got a tech here to pick up the drones. You find security yet, so that we can confirm identity?>

From the side, Sam tried to remain inconspicuous, or at least innocuous, when the stranger approached O'Connor. Luckily, he was far enough away that he wasn't obviously "on guard", but close enough that he could hear the conversation. Let's see how the gun nut handles this, he thought to himself, taking the opportunity to look the "tech" over.

Invisible Castle is still down; GM may roll. Sam's perception (visual) pool is 12; judge intentions 14.

The tech quickly goes from "regular guy joking with regular guy" to "omigod, I have fragged up, this guy is gonna kill me" in less time than it took to say.  "Crenshaw, James sent me over because he said you may have found some bugs in Mr Slade's storage area."

Torley picks up nothing beyond the the obvious, no subterfuge.
