What I meant to say in the latter part of that sentence was:
"...he asking us if all is good before he leaves?"
I.e. offering us the premises to talk among ourselves which was what I got on my first read but since them I got thinking he's essentially telling us to beat it and find our own damned meeting place.

Hah! I'm not even paranoid enough to consider the fact that he has his own pad bugged, [must work harder at paranoia].
Well Francis did ask him if he had a place where they could safely talk among themselves, but he's not going to push the issue any further. Considering how oddly One has been acting it is quite probable that Francis thought he meant for them to show they could do the most basic runner things by themselves.

Yeah, not to mention we have no idea who the people that have been bribed are or what conflicting interests they may have.  I think it would be wise to try and keep an eye on that situation as we go.

And yeah, you know of a place not far from here called The Milk Bar. It's literally underground, near downtown. Kind of a hipster hangout, but everyone there is too busy worrying about who's looking at them to look at anyone else. The cover is only 10ny and it's discreet.
