Just thinking as a player, not a character here: wouldn't it be safer for our runners to steal a van instead of risking getting Yuri's van being recognised/linked to the team later on? They could steal a van directly from the delivery company a few hours before the run so it's 100% legitimate when they show up for their delivery.

I'm more fond of stealing a van, just it leaves a lot more room for possible problems if security at the place catches wind of a delivery van being stolen just a short time before one arrives.

If we do use my truck, as long as we can leave with it safely, I'm confident I can arrange things so I won't have to worry about it being tracked down later.

What kind of van is it actually?  If it's one that sells in the thousands, you should be safe.
'We're looking for a white Ford Transit?'

It's a GAZ-P179 pickup truck, so yeah, common enough, and with a simple paint job, plate change, and some reworking of its wireless stuff, it can practically be a new vehicle.  So like I said, as long as it can get away safely, it's no problem for me.  And if we have trouble escaping, that's what my CD Dalmatian is for.  It will also save time and have less immediate risk if we use my truck, so we might as well.

I don't see how they would get wind of a delivery truck being stolen. The only way that could happen would be if the delivery company itself informs all their clients of it, and that could spell disaster for them. On top of that, the client (company who's merchandise is being delivered) would have to inform THEIR clients of a possible fake van, which would create tensions between them for no apparent reasons.

Anyways, it was just an idea, I thought it would make for a fun side-quest
