I'll wait to post my reply until Number 2 updates the IC thread; not sure if any cleanup is needed, so I'm waiting on confirmation right now.

Yep, waiting on number 2 as well.

All right, good stuff!

Making sure to look for weapons and other items the Borg might be carrying, in case they're about to try something stupid
Perception Test: Checking the Borg on the ground for signs of imminent resistance: 10d6t5 2

Using Intimidation to make the Ares men "fall in" (i.e. not threatening their lives, just being myself and imposing my will on them) if you'll allow it. Using the "Subject is Friendly" (I did just help save their lives), "Desired result is advantageous" (I'm helping them get out of a pinch), and "Character is wielding a weapon" modifiers, for a total of +5. If these assumptions are incorrect, just take off dice at the end of the roll.
Intimidation: Used in place of Leadership to get the Ares men to fall in: 19d6t5 5

And finally a perception test to check my surroundings:
Perception Test: 10d6t5 3

Well, I didn't see this until after I posted, but it seems like I handled most of it. Again, bullets to the brain case tend to ruin a guy's day so you don't see any of them moving. None of them have visible weapons.

Heads up, getting on my 2nd gen ipod here in a minute so it might take longer for me to post, and dice rolling on my part would be difficult.

Anyways, one thing I wanted to discuss was ways to get the group together. Feathers and Anechka are kinda off doing their own thing, and I'm trying to figure out a way to get them together. Perhaps if Vladmire or Marcus knew them. Well, I'll figure it out. But any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated.

Ares wants the location Feathers is heading for scouted out?

Ares just wants to debrief Marcus and Vladimir, and once done gives them a "Good job" and a slap on the back and drops them off wherever they want? Marcus might mention to Vladimir that he was on his way to a job.

Not sure where Anechka is heading, so that one might be trickier.

* Triskavanski pretty much agrees with Martin on that.

Well, if she overheard people talking to Alexei and hearing about where he said a job was located, that would at least put her with Feathers.  Could that help make things work?

All right, so, how do we ice this guy and make it look like an accident? The biggest issue for me is that Marcus is not the kind of guy who knows a lot about this kind of action; he's pretty direct in his approach. I could see him suggesting something like the below, though.

According to this article, the most common causes of accidental death in modern times are (and I've eliminated some right off the bat):

1. Falling Objects
2. Drowning
3. Alcohol Poisoning
4. Roller Coasters
5. Diving
6. Electrocution
7. Machinery
8. Medical Malpractice
9. Poison gas (not weaponized, but fumes from fuel and the like)
10. Firearms (accidental discharge, not intentional obviously :) )
11. Suffocation
12. Fires
13. Poisonous Liquids and/or Solids
14. Motor Vehicle Accidents
15. Falls

Of these, I think Falling Objects and Falls are questionable, unless there's a bunch of construction (of skyrakers) in this little town.

Personally, I think motor vehicle accidents, fires and/or suffocation, and various forms of poison are all viable options.

If we can get a hold of a hacker and a mage (hint hint), we can mess with the driver or take control of the car, and crash it into another car, front to front style. Rigging something to catch fire would involve getting inside (either covertly or as a recruit), and finding a good source. Same with electrocution and/or machinery, and to a degree poison.

Of course, one way to take a bunch of these guys out would be to attack the safe house where this lead is hiding, and use non-penetrating weapons to take people down. That way, after we're done we torch the place and make it look like an accidental fire; bullet holes would be a dead giveaway of foul play, though, so we'd have to use non-lethal SnS or gel rounds only, gas grenades full of breathtaker, and/or injection darts with narcojet or similar.

Personally, I think gas grenades with Breathtaker or Ymir are good alternatives, if we can get our hands on it. Breathtaker because it makes it seem like the victims suffocated, and Ymir because it looks like frostbite, both of which are appropriate for the setting. Warp is another option; dose everybody with a powerful hallucinogen, then go in and clean house, make it look like they turned on each other; messy, but doable. Finally, Neuro-Stun is an old standby, being odor and colourless so we could potentially deploy it without too much issue. If we're going for any of these, we should also inquire as to whether Ares just happen to have, or can get a hold of, some Rock Lizard Blood doses (avail 8R, 1500¥ a pop).

Breathtaker is avail 8R, 50¥ a dose
Neuro-Stun is avail 12R, 60¥ a dose
Warp is avail 12F, 550¥ a dose
Ymir is avail 20F, 800¥ a dose

In terms of torching the place, my bet would be on either letting gas flow into the place (if they have a natural gas mains, or oxygen bottles for welding and/or medicinal purposes), or using some form of accelerator like gasoline or home-made molotov cocktails (they're gangers, after all!) set off accidentally (dropped matches or a nearby chemical heater with a fault).

Electrocution and machinery are more dependent on environment, as I see it; it's up to chance if the location the target is hanging out at has any heavy machinery and or high-voltage power grids.

So, thoughts?

Could do some face work and find out if the kid has any vices. If he does, shouldn't be too hard to arrange for a massively more pure version to land in his lap and let him take a massive overdose.
Failing that, suicide shouldn't be too hard to fake, again, bit of face work might help find out if he's had history of depression/mental illness.

Also good options ;)

Now we just need to connect with a face.

EDIT
Hell, Cyclone will try to haggle on the price; he's a bounty hunter, after all.

Well, that didn't work... *laughs*

Hey Number 2, that was Marcus Evans (aka Leon Cole to the good commander) trying to negotiate, not Vladimir. Just a heads up. Also, sweet! Got some good gear there. Nothing on the ID, though? Would really help with infiltrating the place, and Marcus would probably try to make that argument somehow.

Vladmire had made a joke that wasn't very funny. Sorry, I forgot to say that he was talking to you. Fake, detailed SINs aren't standard armory haha. If you would wait a day or so they could probably get it to you.

Also:
If I see Borg, I kill Borg. Plain and simple, they'll be assimilated.

THANK YOU

Honestly, I don't know how to respond to Leon's plan here. Its way too close to full on pvp to me, even if the goal is to miss, and makes me rather uncomfortable on that regard. Its far too easy for it go south, both IC and OOC.
