I can repeat my questions from last week about how strict do we want to be about OOC/IC crossover - namely do we want to presume that GrimWulf/Ohanzee translates for us (for expediency) or should we stay IC with our understanding of the situation (for realism)? I think we're all erring on the side of the latter until told otherwise.

Also, I am uncertain who exactly is speaking. Is it the soldier that Sam has pinned down or is one of the other chiming in over the comm?

The Pinned soldier is the one talking. Or rather, broadcasting. He was calling for help over DNI while yelling at you vocally. He stopped yelling at you so that he could instead talk over the comm, so its pretty clear it's him.

And if Grim takes his sweet time, we'll go ahead and assume he's translating.

Alright, at this point, I'm assuming Ohanzee is translating back and forth for each of you. He says verbatim what the soldier said, and anything you reply with, he'll translate for the soldier's benefit. Feel free to post responses.

And if Ren does not return tomorrow, he will have officially been absent for 3 weeks, and will lose control of Ace.

With significantly more huff and puff, he speaks into the subvocal again. "Do we have reason to believe these men are with Knight Errant or Ares? Did I miss some intel?"

@Poindexter, not sure if Sam is forgetting ICly but Crumpled Man shared this video and intel right before Chino stopped and Sam jumped out of the van:

The Crumpled Man seems to be distracted for a moment. The look on his face is one often seen on those looking at AR. After a few seconds he does a full on facepalm with his un-cybered hand. He makes a flick of the cybered hand sending the data files across the teams comm channel.

Suddenly several windows open up showing:

.... ID for the soldiers, which identify them as a Knight Errant security HTR squad. There's also a file with an image of a strange metallic statue or tablet or something. Just looks like a weird geometric shape to you. There are also several pictures of you, Uncle Sam, Chino and Ohanzee, which look like they were taken from security cameras.

There's also a video. When played, it shows a camera with an outside view of some structure, pointed at a wall. Then the wall explodes outwards and Chino stumbles through, looking like he just kicked the wall open like it was a door with a bad latch. Following him are yourself and Ohanzee, who is gesturing towards the crate and levitating it through. Then Uncle Sam comes out, walking backwards while firing back through the breach on full auto.

"Does anyone NOT see how totally dreked we are. I think we need to be getting the hell outta here cause we just took out a full on Knight Errant HTR team. I don't want to be around when their backups arrive. But that's just me personally."

Aye. The last funeral I went to brought a lot of far-flung family together, though, so hopefully there's a silver lining.

Sorry going to have to drop out.  I've had very limited access to internet lately as a new position with my company has me travelling a lot and even then the connection at hotels has been flaky. I appreciate the chance to play in the game and I hope you have success in continuing it.
